Absolution is a release that launched on June 3, 2025 as the final chapter to Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds. The release is free for everyone and will be automatically accessible with the expansion.

- Homestead Decoration Limit — doubled decoration cap in the homesteads from 1,000 to 2,000, by buying decoration limit increase services from Deft Lahar and training the Grandmaster Handiworker Crafting mastery.[1]
- Peer Reviewed Research — a new crafting recipe accessible by all crafting disciplines, that introduces easier access to Research Notes by granting 150 of them upon crafting.[1]
- Provisioner Token — adjusted purchase limits of provisioner tokens from faction provisioners in Central Tyria and Heart of Maguuma from one purchase a day per tab to seven purchases a week per tab.[1]
- Rift essence — fine, masterwork, and rare rift essence now can be converted into a wallet currency.[1]
- Wizard's Gobbler — a new item that stores many of the gobblers, condensing over 20 portable exchangers and gobblers into one, allowing access to multiple exchange items without having to fumble with them individually.[1]
- Wizard's Portal Tome — a new item that stores many of the teleportation devices earned in-game, condensing more than 30 items into a single inventory slot.[1]
