Notes[edit]
- Only works on one target per vial. Previously, it worked on five.
- The target is transformed into a Bite-Sized Candy Corn Elemental.
- Each candy corn elemental created by this skill will drop 1-3 Pieces of Candy Corn or a Trick-or-Treat Bag, and is affected by diminishing returns. Previously, they exclusively dropped Trick-or-Treat Bags; this was changed because players would take over certain profitable areas and drive off anyone else that entered for other reasons.
- Does not work on all ambient creatures. In particular, crabs and some birds seem not to be affected, wasting the Maize Balm.
- Creatures created by Maize Balm in personal story instances do not drop items.
- Does not work on ambient creatures in the The Wizard's Tower.

- Was not on the loot table of Trick-or-Treat Bags during Halloween 2015. Returned in 2016.
