Why train devourers?

Ever fought a devourer? Ever seen one? Those barbed tails are fine weapons. Not too smart, as far as beasts go, but train 'em up a bit and they'll do nicely,

What goes into training devourers?

You teach them to be afraid of you. Not with pain, since they don't feel that much. You just have to know what they view as a threat. The rest's a trade secret.
