Mesmer[edit]

moved from Talk:Mesmer

Shouldn't it be considered confirmed because there's a returning profession, warrior, ele, necro and ranger are in the game, monk they said wouldn't return (I think) and they won't have any professions from cantha or elona? User:ShadowedRitualist (I'm confused though because every time I post here after it says ip changes, even though I know my actual ip is none of them) 96.245.177.118 13:08, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

Your question has already been asked and addressed dozens of times. Please read this section from the top, or check the archives. here are all of the facts about the last profession. Despite the known facts, nothing is confirmed, thus we will not change the wiki main space. --Moto Saxon 13:28, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
According to Wiktionary, confirmation is

-"An official indicator that things will happen as planned" -"Verification that something has happened" -"A sacrament of sealing and strengthening in many Christian Churches, often including a ceremony of anointing". It might be the only logical result deducted from facts, but until there's an official statement that "Hey, Mesmers are in the game!", it's not confirmed.--Tuomir 13:32, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

Just saying, I'm thinking of a number between one and ten inclusive, it's not one, two, three, four, five, seven, eight, nine or ten. Haven't I then confirmed that the number is six? 96.245.177.118 17:53, 27 August 2011 (UTC)

Oh, please. No matter how obvious the Mesmer could be (and yes, I think the 8th profession will be Mesmer), as long as it's not official, it just isn't. -Alarielle- 18:01, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
It could be 1.5. Or π. Deduction can't be 100% accurate in such cases, that's why we are waiting for an official confirmation (I do believe that the 8th profession will be Mesmer, though). Also, adding Mesmer to the profession list won't add any useful information to the wiki, as we know nothing about Mesmer gameplay. Alfa-R User Alfa-R sig.png 19:19, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
And repeating stuff that has already been said multiple times on this wiki will add to the list of usefull information? --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 20:00, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
Sorry for not specifying integer there but that's exactly what I'm saying. They've in total said it is not any profession but mesmer. I mean there's not much that could be useful, but it is the only possibility. If it's anything else they've lied about something or changed something without warning, which can't quite be considered because that could be true about anything. 96.245.177.118 00:06, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

Moving this here because the earliest comment was yours. Feel free to move it to my talk page if you think it's unfair, and feel free to continue the conversation here. --ஸ Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 21:52, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

Malevolence[edit]

Are you certain that Malevolence no longer exists, or is it just that it no longer exists in the current version of the beta. Venom20 User Venom20-icon-0602-sm-black.png 11:42, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

In the current beta it doesn't exist; it did in the previous versions before the trait remake, but has since been removed. Removing it according to the most recent version is how pretty much everything has been, if it doesn't exist currently it doesn't exist. If it were added later it could be re-added but keeping it on pages makes it appear that it is in the game while it is not, and not likely to be in the game (especially this as expertise or whatever it is does the same thing). RE: This reversion[edit]

The current consensus is that only traits that explicitly reference certain skills are documented on skill pages. Aqua (talk) 18:49, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

That's maybe two traits total but I'll abide by it. ShadowedRitualist 20:46, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
