K, we will have some water eles in charge to freeze the hell out of rolling balls non-stop so that they will "roll across you and your friends like a boulder" more slower (earth might do the trick too ?), preparing a battery of waves of aoe damages+knock backs+snares for minions should help. GW2 engine

The event can be resumed to this for 90% of players: 26fps, lag and skills not activating. A low fps should be no excuse for commands not being queued/sent, there are a million of technical solutions for this. One of the biggest defects right now is events randomly breaking. This is happening for a variety of reasons, including NPCs failing to path to their destination, players pulling NPCs out of the event area, and content scripts failing to handle edge cases. A big part of the problem is tracking down what broke minutes or hours after the bug has occurred. One restricting factor to keep in mind is that we're dealing with a live environment now with significantly more code and content being exercised than our development environment. Some bugs only reproduce for us at live scale, which makes it very difficult to diagnose the problem and work with it in a sandbox. This requires improvements to the debugging tools we've taken for granted all along in the dev branch in order to make them work efficiently at live scale, which we're actively working on now."

Shield rarely used

Karka champ

Tried to lure it at the lowest level where the lava pit is in order to force it to jump into it. Because the designers so ridiculously tweaked the karka, it landed into the cave wall collisions, stayed blocked, then was teleported back to the highest floor with full health. Fractal of the myst: i can only do it after work, but teenagers can unlock 10 levels during a day. Since they wont take people who did not unlocked the same lvls as them we are back to the stinky situation where you cant do some content of the game for stupid reasons. If i was still 18 years old it wouldnt be a problem since like every youngsters i was always doing the same activities than some always available buddies. Giants not counting toward the giants slayer title

Neither giants risens veterans nor giants risen champions count toward the giants slayer title, even when killed by a single player. Anet, you consistently proved to be unable to tag foes with the correct types over gw1 and gw2: for fuck sake, provide a way for players to identify the type you gave to an enemy so that if you taged an elephant as a mermaid, at least, we can know it. The devs are in fact sensible to our reactions toward the ascended stuff design and seem to be under an external pressure as implied in this discussion: here. For short, they definitely plan to provide ways to get ascended stuff for people that are not part of a teenages clan playing 24/24, 7/7. Random thoughts

I am the kind of person who never really understood why people would want to divide by zero because for me it's a symptome of being dominated by a formal expression initially created to help us represent a numerical relationship with a finite set of rules imposed by man, not even by universal laws. For me something being divided by nothing always resulted to something not being devided. Yet i am not a mathematician, so who am i to claim such things. AI

There is something incredibly mystifying in being the target of the spell fear 6 times in a row, or/and being "attracted" 12 times in a row to the point that utlimately, the foes who used those skills accomplished nothing because they substract their target from each other. I am used to it, i sometimes even use it. No, what really ennoys me is that beyond any doubt, it's not necessary to add to the stupidity that we already have to face in this game. Note: (but i shouldnt even have to tell it because it's not my job) by bunny-hoping or approaching with a given angle you can prevent clumps of mobs to cast fear on you because you are mid air most of the time. Short break

Now that i did get me some ascended stuff and did hit the 1.000.000 karma points (a goal i took on 3 weeks ago and which would have been usefull to get me some exotic armors that i already had) i will make a short break to write some thoughts on what i think of the game, with a little amphasis on what i think of the zerg running after karma trains. I now have had a 100% success rate for several weeks while soloing the lone post events chain, including rescuing other players whipes upon arrival after loging in, wich tend to double the number of foes i normally have to deal with since these players never return from the nearest available wp. It requires a kit-swap frequency of once every 3 seconds on average but i am now comfortable with it. On a side note: there are two high frequency repeatable events completely ignored in the straits of devastation map that leave you with a fully charged 25 stack sigil 30s after loging in (i am sure you realize how cozy it is now). I wouldnt even be tempted to say "Keep it secret ! Keep it safe !" because in the end the only thing cows are interested in, are karma trains... Yseron - 90.14.227.216 22:06, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

I wouldnt say that this is my prefered kind of reading, but i tend to stop by every subject that seems to matter when it comes to the non-survival of the less fited. Leveling

Alterning between story missions and crafting sessions really speed leveling. It is possible to go from level 1 through 80 in 3 or 4 days if you are dedicated enough to do only that with your free time. However some story missions seem to have changed, for exemple, in the one where you explore a vision of Orr i was constantly being attacked by every single npc + some pop ups/ambushes with Eva whereas now npcs wont even turn red. Today i check my mail box and grab a paper that tell me that i have to go to the post office for a "recommandé avec accusé de réception" (means people who sent you this letter want tracability for eventually pursuing you"). So i go to the post office (La Poste: one of our french middle-age adminsitrations where you wait for one hour to grab a letter, sometimes also a place where old people wait to die excepted there are no nurse). An what i learn by opening the letter is this: the company that provide gaz to french people want me to explain why i dont consume gaz anymore. You heard me: nowadays, at the age of internet, ecology, new enegies etc, a fucking company find you guilty for not messing the planet resources. You MUST comsume gaz otherwise you are suspect. You MUST explain why you dont consume gaz. What next, a tax for people who dont comsume or polute enough ? Fucking planet, fucking chimps called humans.
