Mock ups

Any way I could convince you to create mock-up pages with your suggestions? Perhaps:

• User:Noxx/Lists nav/Profession pages - With a copy of a profession page your two v4.1 styles
• User:Noxx/Lists nav/Race pages - With your new race nav in v4
• User:Noxx/Lists nav/Specialization pages - With a copy of a specialization, Alex's Specialization Nav, and your two v4.1 profession navs
• User:Noxx/Lists nav/List of traits pages - With your two v4.1 profession navs
• User:Noxx/Lists nav/List of skills pages - With your two v4.1 profession navs
• User:Noxx/Lists nav/Skill type pages - e.g. Shout with your v4 skill type nav
• User:Noxx/Lists nav/Profession mechanic pages - e.g. Initiative with your v4 profession mechanics nav
• Any other that I may have forgotten?

Obviously I stated my preferences for which could go on those pages. I can mock these up as well, if you're not too keen on it. I'd like to cut through all the chatter we've had, and show something overt for people to see. Also, it's very late for me, and I could have missed some pages which may deserve more than one nav, but at a cursory glance, I think only the specializations may end up with a combo. I think you've got the multiple-navs-per-page backwards. The spec navs should be on the professions' pages, instead of the other way around. —Dr Ishmael 13:48, 23 August 2015 (UTC)

Well, I can sort of see the reasoning for both directions... but the profession pages already have a list of specs fairly visible in their text, while the professions nav works mostly to hop between professions; a jump from Elementalist to Strength wouldn't probably happen so often anyway. On the other hand the direction me and Greener use now allows jumps like from Dragonhunter to List of guardian skills, which seems to me more useful. 14:00, 23 August 2015 (UTC)

Edit: Although, having made those mock-ups now, I'm wondering if we really need the two navs anywhere. What if we just added See also links to the skill and trait lists in the page instead of the profession nav? 14:40, 23 August 2015 (UTC)
