Swastika[edit]

Oh lord, they've left the swastika in again. Remember the fun they had with that in GW1? Yeah, it's left-facing and, arguably, a manji - but it's still a swastika and it will be abused. Hi Mith ^_^ — snogratUser Snograt signature.png 16:21, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

The swastika is not a nazi symbol. And that refers to both right and left facing versions. Nazis also had swastikas looking to the other side. It's not like they inverted it or anything and changed the meaning. They just took it because it means 'eternity' in some contexts. If you traveled just a bit on Asia, you'll see it everywhere both facing left and right. People in Occident ended up relating it to Nazis because they never saw it before, but in Asia this rarely happens, and you need to put it on a white circle over a red background to have a stronger effect on them, and it will still not be as strong as in Occident. People should try harder to take back what doesn't belong to those crazy people. I don't see the Kappa Kappa Kappa fraternity changing their initials just because some wackos decided to go also "KKK". All you have to do is ignore them and stick to the original meaning of things. Do not forget them nor what they did, but do not let them keep what they took from others, until they vanish in the mists of history. Yes, I'm well aware of all the proper uses of the swastika. People will still use it deliberately to cause offence, though. That's people for you :| — snogratUser Snograt signature.png 22:07, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
