categories[edit]

Since you've been asking a lot of questions about them, you might want to read this to learn about how categories work. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 05:16, 31 December 2012 (UTC)

daily[edit]

User:Relyk/sandbox/daily until someone makes a proper table.--Relyk ~ talk > 02:07, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

That would be perfect, but I'm sure people can pretty it up. Thanks! Daddicus 02:44, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

Champion of the Wild 30/25[edit]

I've seen this happen before on other achievements. If you earn additional points to the achievement after the floater pops up, the floater will update to reflect your current progress. It's easiest to see on Slayer and Weapon master achievements - one time I had 498/500 on a WM (forget which weapon), but I killed 5 ambient creatures at once, and the floater said "503/500".

So you must have been at 24/25, registered 6 kills at once (not uncommon when zerg-farming the pavilion), and your floater showed 30/25. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 02:33, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, that definitely would explain it. Thanks! Daddicus (talk)

Clump_of_Destabilized_Ectoplasm/Drop_Rate[edit]

Your last entry makes no sense without a non-zero number in both the "Items opened" column and the "Glob of Ectoplasm" column. Please correct the entry or delete it. ~ 1Maven (talk) 03:19, 14 July 2015 (UTC)

Beep[edit]

Done. Let me know if I messed anything up. Also, if you're planning on breaking anything on the wiki, please try harder; I so rarely get to use fun admin tools! G R E E N E R 04:08, 12 September 2018 (UTC)

Strange. I reverted all but the one Alex reverted an hour or so ago. Oh, well. Daddicus (talk) 04:19, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
Alex? An hour ago? I fear I'm missing something. The rollbacks I did just now were in response to Talk:Book of Vlast Page 06 where I thought you were wanting to undo your "See also" sections. If I was wrong, I'll absolutely correct my mistake and offer you a big apology! G R E E N E R 04:33, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
No, I think we're good. Is undoing a page (my own page, in this case) a two-step process? If so, then you were the second step. If not, we're still good, because they're all correctly removed now. So, unless I managed to undo one of your undoes by accident, we're all good. And, no matter what, I think I should thank you! :) Daddicus (talk) 00:38, 13 September 2018 (UTC)
You can undo any basic edit on the wiki by clicking the "undo" button on the history of a page, the recent changes page, or a user's contribution page, and then clicking "save" after the page loads (i.e. it's two steps with clicking and waiting). The rollback button that I used does it all in one step, so everything took me about five seconds to do. G R E E N E R 02:41, 13 September 2018 (UTC)
Boy, I really want to learn how it all works. It seems there is SO much that can be done. But, I'm 60, so I learned my programming skills decades ago, and only really do scripting now. But, I would LOVE to learn.
Anyhow, thanks for everything! Daddicus (talk) 23:41, 13 September 2018 (UTC)

Hologram Stampede[edit]

I'm confused, what do you mean by "The hologram projectors work in all four zones, but since there won't be as many people, getting silver or gold is less likely"? The projectors are only supposed to be active in one zone at a time, not all four. - Doodleplex 21:06, 5 July 2020 (UTC)

I thought that, too. But, I returned to Wayfarer Foothills at xx:15, and it was active. We achieved silver while there. Strange, I thought, but it happened. Could be a bug? Daddicus (talk) 00:58, 6 July 2020 (UTC) Daddicus (talk) at 22:11, 5 July 2020 (UTC).
Nah, you just entered a brand new map that hadn't started it yet. So it was still possible to start since you were still in the time period, but as soon at it switched, it ended. That's what that happened, so I've reworded your note a little. - Doodleplex 23:08, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
No, I had already completed it for WF for that hour (at xx:00-xx:05). Then I went to farm my home instance. I then re-spawned back in WF, thinking to dump some stuff in the bank at that central collection of crafting tables (etc.) But, the event started within a few seconds of my logging in again. Daddicus (talk) 00:57, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
I just repeated the test in Dredgehaunt. The event was over, but then I got the "do you want to change maps" window. It put me into another copy of the map that still had the event going. It ended at the xx:30 cutover to the next zone. So, I think you're right. Daddicus (talk) 02:31, 6 July 2020 (UTC)

API not working[edit]

The API for the main tables isn't working. It says it is unresponsive.

(In case you don't already know.)

This started just a couple days ago. Daddicus (talk) 01:14, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
