This page contains changes and additions that I could imagine in an attempt to explore design space. They may be perfectly applicable, have a major drawback or don't make any sense at all. Most, if not all, scalings should only be considered aa ballpark numbera to compare skills within this writeup.

Changes[edit]

  • Transmutation Stones can also combine items with level 80 or higher but only normal, fine or masterwork items. For rare, exotic, ascended or legendary items, Transmutation Crystals would be necessary (even below level 80). (Useless due to Transmutation Charge)
  • Bids on the Trading Post require the 5% tax for creating the offer. A person accepting that offer, selling an item, would only pay the 10% tax on the receipts.
  • Food tablets only have a limited time of using when spawned. lvl80 food tablets would have 10 or 15 Uses. 75->20 Uses, 55/60->30 Uses, 40->40 Uses, 25->50 Uses. Tablets of food with level 15 or lower would have infinite uses.
  • Minor and Major Runes have identical stats to superior runes except for ability to stack. More than two minor runes or more than four major runes have no effect. (Might popularize mix n' match.)
  • The salvage costs of the Silver-Fed Salvage-o-Matic can be switched between 1 Silver and 2 Silver Ore.
  • The vendor value of potions increases by 1 copper per tier.
  • Food that increases or decreases all condi durations are halved in efficiency. (Example: Bowl of Lemongrass Poultry Soup only provides -20% condition duration.) (has been implemented) Meanwhile food that increases or decreases specific condition duration is tripled in efficiency. (Example: Fancy Truffle Burger now provides +45% poison duration.)
  • Laurel Merchants sell superior siege weapons instead of normal siege.
  • Based on the Wardrobe, Upgrades can be stored in the Ornamentome that provides cheaper switching between sets of upgrades.
  • Siege Commander's Spoon drops even after filling the respective slot for the collection.

Attributes and Combinations[edit]

Attributes[edit]

  • Ferocity.png Ferocity: Increases damage depending on the stacks of condition the enemy currently has. 100 Ferocity increase the damage by 0,1% per stack of condition
  • Healing Power.png Healing Power: Also confers resistance against condition damage. Condition damage is reduced by 1% each 35 Healing Power.
  • Agility: Provides the chance that critical hits you suffer are glancing blows. Increases maximum amount of Endurance.

Boons and Conditions[edit]

  • Players can only have a maximum of 10 different boons and conditions. When a 11th condition is applied to a player that already has 10 different conditions, that condition application is nullified.
This would serve against a upper ceiling for condition overload, boonspam, skills and traits that scale off conditions/boons, simplify the mechanisms (to 10) of broad condition cleanses and would require groups to prioritise boons/conditions useful for their playstyle, minimising relatively useless boons/detrimental conditions, instead of spamming everything that is theoretically possible. Might be reduced to 7 to have a harsher effect.
Name Description
Resistance.png Resistance Stacks intensity instead of duration. Prevent the most recently applied conditions from affecting the player. One stack of Resistance negates one stack of Curse, of excess stacks, one stack of Resistance covers one condition.
Flying Stacks duration. Reduces damage and condition duration from ground targeted skills (marks, wells, symbols) by 50%.
Name Description
Curse Stacks intensity. Prevent the most recently applied boons from benefiting the player. One stack of Curse negates one stack of Resistance.
Burning.png Burning Removes Chilled.png Chilled on the foe upon application.

Condition/Boon Cleanse/Transfer/Steal/Conversion/Corruption[edit]

Transfer/Cleanse/Corrupt guidelines
Conditions
  • Resistance.png Resistance covers the most recently (newest) applied conditions.
  • Condition cleanses, conversions or transfers (such as Sigil of Generosity) start with the least recently (oldest) applied condition.
  • Curse is an exception, always having the lowest priority for cleanses/conversions/transfers or the highest priority for Resistance due to negating of stacks.
Boons
  • Curse covers the most recently (newest) applied boons.
  • Corrupts and condition removals also start with the most recently (newest) applied boon.
  • Steals or boon transfers however start with the least recently (oldest) applied boon.
  • Resistance is an exception, always having the lowest priority for Corrupts and Steals or the highest priority for Curse due to negating of stacks.
