Usage

This template is used when two articles are merged. The purpose of this template is to preserve attribution for contributions from editors on the previous page's history and talk. This template should only be used if text from the previous article is copied into the body of the other article.

Parameters

From

Enter the name of the page that the information was copied from in this parameter (eg. Template:Copynote).

To

Enter the name of the page that the information was copied to in this parameter.

Edit

Enter the FULL URL of the edit (accessed from history0 in which the information was added to the To acticle in this parameter.

History

Enter the FULL URL of the history page of the From article in this parameter

Talk

Enter the name of the talk page of the From article in this parameter (eg. Template_talk:Copynote).

The former article's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter article, and must not be deleted so long as the latter page exists.
