Base Attributes or Starter-Attributes are what a character starts with before you add the benefits of equipment and boosts from traits. Base Attributes are determined by character-level. All Base Attributes are identical for all professions and all Races with the exception of Health which is profession-specific for balance reasons.

Races[edit]

There are currently five Playable races: Asura tango icon 20px.png Asura, Charr tango icon 20px.png Charr, Human tango icon 20px.png Human, Norn tango icon 20px.png Norn and Sylvari tango icon 20px.png Sylvari. Each Playable race has a unique appearance and unique Racial skills with variations in their personal story. However, their attributes are identical in all respects.

Professions[edit]

There are currently eight professions divided into three classes that each wear a different type of armor (heavy, medium and light). More information about professions here.
