Italic in the name[edit]

Erm... do we need it? It is awfully inconsistent. MalGalad 17:51, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

I assume it was done because of the rule that names of ships should be italicized. However, it's not a rule we've ever really followed here, e.g. Wreck of the Argent Warrior isn't shown as Wreck of the Argent Warrior. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 18:26, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

History[edit]

Disrupting the ley lines

Article says "Engineers who found their way onto Scarlet's airship noted from its design that its purpose was never to tap into the power of the ley lines, but to disrupt them". But non-engineers could also note its intention.

  • Marionette Control Panel:
    • For non-engineers: "The drill can only cut into—not channel anything out of—the ground. Scarlet intended only to disrupt the ley lines, not to tap the energy in them."
    • For engineers: "The drill was designed to cut through the ground at the bottom of the bay. But something is odd."
Upon looking closer: "There is no pump or other method of channeling energy anywhere. It's as if Scarlet wanted only to drive the drill into the ley lines."
Upon considering what this would mean: "It seems Scarlet wanted to disrupt the flow of magic. This is what captured the attention of the dragon we heard. Her goal all along...was the dragon."
    • So, I think there's not much difference between the two professions besides the engineers noting "no pump or other method of channeling energy anywhere" and being able to consider that waking the dragon was the ultimate goal.
  • Energy Probe Map:
    • non-engineers can tell there's no obvious way to shut it down,
    • engineers can tell that magic fuels the device and that it was designed to keep running on purpose.
The Breachmaker exploding

I don't like the "it is said that" in "It is said that (...) was the reason it exploded". Events that happens during Scarlet's End instance: Scarlet weakens core during battle (then is slain); heroes briefly talk; the Breachmaker shakes; cutscene shows surge of power (Mordy wakes); Braham yells "The whole place is coming down!"; actors exit stage. --BryghtShadow (talk) 17:53, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
