Yay, now we have a way to slowly move to a waypoint so we don't lose as much money! EiveTalk 09:07, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

YAY!Although IMO, this skill has the potential to be either massively OP or UP Aquadrizzt Main Page Designer 14:00, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
i'm guessing you still count as you being downed but you get the advantage of movement, you could still die because you didn't rally in time, it would probabaly be alot harder to die because you can move towards teammates or move out of aoe nukes but the risk is still there. it might be designed like games have a crawling feature when you get downed (gears of war 2 for example). about it being OP perhaps you can't use any other skills to balance out it? --AlbinoAce 14:22, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
The issue with this skill is that it provides no benefit, as all the enemies can still follow you and stalk you around. It's honestly, underpowered. --Event boss (map icon).pngDavid 10:33, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Vapor Form[edit]

http://www.arena.net/blog/jon-peters-answers-more-healing-and-death-questions Calls the skill with the same function as Vapor Form.--Corsair@Yarrr 04:38, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Considering the PCGamer article was the same one that called Grasping Earth Drafting Earth, I'd be willing to agree with you Corsair. EiveTalk 04:41, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
The PCGamer writer probably just misheard 'grasping' for 'drafting, but mist and vapour sound nothing alike. I'm rather...tentative on changing it. --hexalMy 16:59, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
Look at it this way, PC gamer is a secondary source, while ArenaNet is the All Powerful Master Source!!! It supersedes any information we got elsewhere.--Corsair@Yarrr 18:32, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
Compromise, move the page, and put a note on Vapor Form that this skill was originally called Mist Form, and then reference the PC Gamer article. EiveTalk 18:36, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
How do we know that they are not two different things, or that the interviewed didn't misspeak? --Riddle 18:58, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

(Reset indent) A similar situation occured on "On My Mark" in which PC gamer stated one thing (in that particular case, elite status) which contradicted what ANet said (utility skill). A-Net should take presidence over PCGamer, whose many fails have included *ahem* Lava Tigers...In short, take PC Gamer with a grain of salt. Aquadrizzt Main Page Designer 21:08, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Except in this situation, both are ArenaNet sources. I would say make a note on this page that it has also been referred to as Vapor Form. Just as Firewall has had many names used to refer to it. -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted guided sig.png (τѧιк) 21:14, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
I wouldn't exactly call both an Anet source. One is from the same people who called Paragons poncy warriors, charrs lava tigers, relates Hunter's Call to fashion, and speak of axes to the balls, while the other is Anet. My vote is on move, then add a note. Anet takes precedence EiveTalk 21:40, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
For some reason, I thought that Mist Form was mentioned on the original Healing and Death article. Whoops. I say we move it. -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted guided sig.png (τѧιк) 23:31, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
I'm moving it then, since we appear to have consensus. I will put in a note that this was also called Mist Form.--Corsair@Yarrr 05:10, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

Effects of this skill[edit]

This skill turns you into a cloud of vapor and allows you to gradually move around (no surprise there). What it also does is gives you the right hand side of your skill bar to use for the duration of the effect. While I read this wiki a lot, I'm new to making changes so I'm not quite sure how to add this. -- Frozzen 18:19, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Vapor Form (form)[edit]

In the youtube video referenced, if you freeze it at 4:35, the character goes into Vapor form and the guy highlights a description which reads: Turn into a Vapor when it ends you become down again. Does that mean a separate article for Vapor? Should we put it under this article instead to save on having to go to two different articles? (Xu Davella 11:31, 16 March 2011 (UTC))

A vapor is an everyday event. - Infinite - talk 14:08, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
I've also been wondering about the two different descriptions. Here is the screen shot description not included in this article. --Saxon 22:08, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

Vapor Form bug?[edit]

Have we had ANet confirm that NPCs are supposed to continue to follow you in vapor form? I would think that's a bug. I've been running away, had the enemy get close to an ally and then continue pursuing me instead using this. Dargus 00:03, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

One thing I do know is that it stops your elementals from attacking...or maybe going into downed state does...80.112.181.245 20:01, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
