Feedback 2017/06/11[edit]

Hi, could we change this page to be more like the food page, in which you can see all the foods with their effects? I'd be willing to change it if people won't hate me for it. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 141.135.147.206 (talk) at 15:17, 11 June 2017‎ (UTC).

Nobody will ever hate you for making a good-faith contribution to a page. The worst that can happen is your edits will be reverted, usually with an explanation as to why the reverting editor feels your change wasn't useful. --Idris (talk) 15:52, 11 June 2017 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) It's hard to hate someone with good intentions. I didn't realize that Food had grown as large as it has, which to me is pushing the limits of usability. That said, the list of utility items is far smaller. If you're up for the challenge of making it more user friendly, then have at it. G R E E N E R 15:54, 11 June 2017 (UTC)
This list may be helpful to you if you're thinking of a big manual list by type.

Huh, not all of our utility items are in Category:Utility items, some are just down as Category:Consumables. I will fix this. --Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 17:45, 11 June 2017 (UTC)
Fixed the issues preventing everything displaying above. Also this has added roughly 80 items to greener's link too. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 20:34, 11 June 2017 (UTC)
Ups, haven't looked at the talk page at all. Just now, after updating the whole page "to be more like the food page" which was also my intention. Two questions:
  • Regarding the categorization: should we move Potent Superior Sharpening Stone and Ogre Sharpening Stone up to Basic Utilities (Power) or keep it in Special Utilities (Same with precision/condition damage types)? Edit: Answered it myself with NO, created Power, Precision, etc.. subsections in Special Utilities. But should we keep the WvW and Wintersday section or move it to Power, Precision or Condition Damage respectively?
  • Regarding Slayer Potions, there's such a nice table at the page Potion#Slayer_potions, I think redirecting is enough. --Tolkyria (talk) 21:46, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
Edit: Remark: I used the ingame-spelling, which means "Equal" or "Your" or even "Power", etc... are written with capital letter while on the specific item pages these are written with a small letter. For example: captial letter: Utility_item#Craftable (can be found ingame in this way) and small letter on Ogre Sharpening Stone. But changing these on each of the item pages would take too long for me now. --Tolkyria (talk) 22:02, 16 July 2017 (UTC)

Make Utility Item Table ?[edit]

Can the tables on this page be used to create a filterable table similar to the one on the Food page ?. --Separ (talk) 21:52, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
