Elementalists Getting Shafted

So from the article posted about the underwater combat, it seems that Elementalists are limited to only using the Trident (and possible the unanounced "mesmer"), whereas the other professions can use at least 2 of the underwater weapons. (Usaf1a8xx 17:32, 24 June 2011 (UTC))

Elementalists have four attunements, though. They have fewer weapons available to them over-water too. pling 17:35, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Source, IP? Because I've seen constant statements that those are the only weapons usable underwater. That most normal weapons "don't make sense" and thus all were removed from underwater combat. "Underwater a lot of these weapons don't make sense [...] We created different underwater weapons" [1] Konig/talk 19:14, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Easily confused; in previous demos, underwater skills didn't even exist yet. Back then it was the same skills on land and underwater. This was obviously not intended to stay, but they couldn't just get rid of the water just because it was incomplete. - Infinite - talk 19:55, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

It does seem like a shaft for ele's and engineers. but than again, they only get 1 above water weapon too, bc of attunement and kits. --Moto Saxon 20:10, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Eles and Engineers are pretty tough as is. Certainly, they're limited underwater but overall their utilities make up for it. (On a side note, who else is planning on making an Ele with Water Attunement, jumping in the water, and swimming around shrieking "I AM TRITON!
