ok WHERE THE HELL is she? I dont have a star or anytign and ive been circling the living story insstance for 25 minutes now. Can someone post a map? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 206.188.95.101 (talkcontribs) at 20:56, 28 August 2014‎ (UTC).

I don’t really have a map now, but Magister Lindsay is in a cave on the west. I don’t remember the instance too well but I think there was a pointer there. But you should be able to find it, if you just go to the mountain on the west and then check for a small cave entry. poke | talk 12:44, 29 August 2014 (UTC)

Very Pale[edit]

If you don't have excellent resolution, or don't know where to look, you may not be able to notice the extremely small, faint green circle to indicate Lindsay's position. The green circle appears after the green star left of the fort (with unknown purpose) disappears. It is along the west wall, a deep cave that initially looks empty. Enter the cave, and the NPCs will appear.

On Swift Wings[edit]

On swift wings. Are the NPC's alive or dead, or resurrectable or what? can't find any of them and the achievement marker went away and i don't know why. Someone please update the walkthrough with real information. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.34.110.172 (talkcontribs) at 16:22, 24 October 2016 (UTC).

On Swift Wings. The instance sets you up for this by moving you across the stream from the fort to a pathway heading north/south on the west side of the stream next to the cliff face that has the cave where Lindsay is. Where the pathway has a wooden tower on it right before the cave entrance to get to lindsay you need to kill all the mobs at that location before moving into the cave. The instance forces you into the cave so you can't see the mob/NPC placement. Pro-Tip, if you have any traps, portals or triggerable AE put them right around the pathway next to the wooden tower before going into the cave. Go into the cave, kill the mobs and activate lindsay. As you come out of the cave you have to aggro/kill all the mobs around the 2 NPCs at the base of the tower ASAP. Then go up into the tower and get the 3rd NPC in the tower. From that location go back down to the stream SE of the tower and get the 4th NPC who will either be standing in the stream w/o aggro or will be fighting a mob. From that stream location go back up the hill to the SW on the west side of the path and up the hill towards a cave entrance (note, not the cave entrance to get to lindsay), Either activate the 5th and 6th NPC's at the cave entrance or aggro and save them. Then for the 7th NPC go back across the stream heading NE towards the bridge/dock on the N/NE side of the fort and either climb the very large rock north of the dock/west of the narrows and drop down into the narrows of the stream between the rock and cliff face to the east or move around the rock and north through the narrows to reach the 7th NPC. Activate/aggro and rescue and you are done. The first 6 NPC's are all in visual range of eachother and well within 10 seconds running time. So if you find yourself running in any direction for longer than 5 seconds w/o seeing an NPC then you have gone the wrong way. The only 1 "hidden" is the 7th NPC under the rock standing in the narrows north of the fort, and it's within 20 seconds running time of the 2 south NPC's next to the cave entrance south of both the wooden tower and the cave entrance where lindsay is.The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.34.110.172 (talkcontribs) at 17:15, 24 October 2016 (UTC).

Bugged[edit]

I have attempted this numerous times with my guild and several of us have never been able to complete the On Swift Wings achievement. We reported the bug as blocking progress over a year ago. Has anyone experienced the bug and then later had a successful completion of the achievement? 47.186.0.84

there is no bug report on the page - at what point does your bug occur? Do you save everyone and reach the end worth no credit? -94.8.93.227 23:40, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
Tried this with teammates and didn't get the achievement. I did notice one extra person hanging around near Crusader Brice. Did it solo and got the achievement. I think as the page says there are "seven if playing solo, more if playing in a group". But it doesn't say how many more or where they are. There is one more near Brice, and there must be more somewhere else ... haven't found them yet myself. -- bcstingg (talkcontribs) 03:15, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
I saved everyone and reached the end and the achievement badge disappears as I arrive at the destination. I've tried it both solo and with guild-mates. I tried it again with the re-release of the living story in 2021. Brassica (talk)
