Origin[edit]

Anyone find it odd that her 'home city' is an overrun part of Orr? Her birth would probably predate Pact activity there. SarielV 20 x 20px 16:19, 2 June 2016 (UTC)

Move discussion[edit]

I disagree with moving this article; it is about the boss in the Gauntlet which has a title. If anything, the NPC in LA should have a separate article. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 14:45, 12 April 2019 (UTC)

The NPCs are one entity so they shouldn't have separated articles (same as Turai Ossa + King Turai Ossa etc). Though I also think the move isn't really necessary since during the next festival she will probably still be -the Blazing Light. ~SimeUser Sime Maraca Choya.pngTalk 14:56, 12 April 2019 (UTC)
The NPC's name in LA is now just "Suriel". She has two names in Queen's Gauntlet, being both "Suriel the Blazing Light" and "Suriel the Radiant Light". For 21 days, she is both "Suriel the Blazing Light" and "Suriel the Radiant Light", but for 344 days she is just "Suriel". The article is about all three appearances - and names - as they're one singular NPC. Suriel is the common denominator and the most frequently seen variant. Also, 100% against the split; all other Gauntlet foes use one article with their non-Gauntlet appearance, even Turai Ossa (who was originally split but had gotten merged to follow the format of all other NPCs like the Master of Lightning). Ah well that makes sense, sure then. I totally forgot she is also "the Radiant Light". I was mainly against the splitting. ~SimeUser Sime Maraca Choya.pngTalk 16:29, 12 April 2019 (UTC)
I'm not opposed to moving the page; if the NPC was renamed in game, then the page should be moved and probably should be mentioned in either the notes or trivia about the change. I can have J.A.R.V.I.S. correct any needed redirects if/when the page is moved. - Doodleplex 17:51, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
