Hidden Chests[edit]

This could have been a bug from a left over dynamic event (or something), or it could be there on purpose. But in a little wolf alcove east of the Njordstead waypoint I saw three spots on the ground. Didn't think it meant anything, but i went to the very back, trying to climb the obviously too steam mountain, and when i turned around there were 3 chests (with collision). I walked back in front of them and they dissapeared. Walked behind them and they reappeared. Couldn't find any reason they were doing so, or any way to interact with them. Just a note of insignificant interest. --Mooseyfate 01:40, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

Explorer[edit]

Is the map image attached to this page actually complete? The northwest corner of this map does not look uncovered to me, but I can't figure out how to get that area, and I am at 170/172 for explorer. Could someone with 100% Shiverpeak Explorer confirm whether that area is, in fact, not uncoverable? --Poster of Leet 21:51, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

As far as I know, it's complete. Some areas - like the NW corner here, or most of the northern edge in Harathi Hinterlands has fogged areas between uncovered areas intentionally (I'm guessing to help reduce the whole "every map is a rectangle" feel). Konig/talk 21:54, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the speedy response. I just got 100% shiverpeak explorer and it didn't require uncovering those areas, so you are correct. --Poster of Leet 23:02, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Door to cave in NW[edit]

Has anyone seen this open? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 174.0.168.195 (talk).

The only cave in the northwest I know of is the one where the Raven Shaman's Power Source skill challenge is located, and there's no door for it - you jump up the rocks on the left side of the cave. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 15:10, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
I think he's referring to the gate in the western edge of Ossencrest Climb, near Angvar's Trove Waypoint (the one added in the March patch that's contested all the time). I would guess it's used for a guild mission. --Felbryn 20:43, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Angvar's Trove Waypoint[edit]

It's always contested, and yet there's no event going on. There is also a barricaded door leading to somewhere. Does anybody know more info? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.186.18.11 (talk).

This one was the last waypoint I got and I didn't get my reward :( 24.118.236.94 20:13, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
I didn't get my reward either
I see 2 possibilities:
  1. You had already completed this map and received the reward before this new waypoint was added in the March 26 update. When the waypoint was added your 100% went down to 99%(or 98%). When you discovered this new waypoint, it simply brought back your % back up to 100. No reward since you already got it.
  2. Or it's a bug. (This waypoint being different in that way, completing the map with it as the last item, does not produce the map completion reward.) --Alad 00:23, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
Didn't realize it was recently added. That must be it as I had explored everything else there. Thanks for the response.--24.118.236.94 02:54, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
Yes, they've been adding new locations (including waypoints and POIs) for the guild missions and living story. And you're welcome. :) --Alad 06:28, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
The nearby cave with the same looking door as Cragstead (only smaller) is still closed, but when you run into the gate you will now discover Angvar's Trove (an area, not the WP), this didn't happen before 30th of April patch. You can also see Frost Bats inside, so this cave probably will be opened soon :) --Landon144 23:03, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
Sorry for the double post, I just checked my map and it seems Angvar's Trove is an entire area in the NW of Snowden --Landon144 23:09, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
Ugh, another zone map I have to go update. Dammit Anet. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 23:46, 30 April 2013 (UTC)

Feedback 2020/06/14[edit]

Why does the infobox for Snowden Drifts state there are 12 renown hearts when there are actually 13? --C4SC4 (talk) 07:14, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

Updated. —Kvothe (talk) 10:00, 14 June 2020 (UTC)
