Talk:Sigil of Earth

I've tested with two superior sigil of earths with two pistols on a thief with 50% crit chance with the skill unload and the bleed effect can only proc once per unload used. I think that the sigil has an internal cooldown. Sconna 11:15, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

I was curious if this sigil's chance to cause a bleed was additive with the warrior trait "precise strikes," but if the 2 second duration listed on the precise strikes page is to be believed, then i'm betting it probably doesn't. Still, stranger things have happened.192.168.104.79 21:41, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

Just wanted to add that, after a bit of experimentation, they are not additive and in fact they can both trigger thus applying 2 extra bleeds on crit, albeit it's a rare occurrence.98.225.41.218 06:34, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

On the sigil main page, it says that two on-crit sigils have a multiplicative chance, but I couldn't even get this sigil to trigger while it was solely on the off-hand weapon. Is it strictly a main-hand sigil or am I missing something?Mootay 19:16, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

Re off-hand reliance--I tested two axes, one with Earth sig on the offhand, and no other sources of bleed in the build, and the target golem bled as expected, with what appeared to be a correct 2s cooldown, and stacking when expected post cooldown. So it definitely will proc from the off hand IN PVP. Presumably should be the same case in PVE, but there's, of course, no guarantee. 76.173.70.174 04:39, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
The sigil works on either hand. They share CD, so when one procs, they are both out of commission. The chance to proc does increase by equipping two sigils, though it does not double. The math is explained well here: Talk: Sigil of Strength. Pucktrapper 14:02, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
