Really Anet, I thought your skill motive was "quality over quantity". This skill is just an inverted version of Shadow Shot. --Eclipse143 02:31, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, and some people would like to be able to back away from enemies instead of being forced to go to them. Having that option is nice. --Sy 02:38, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
Which means that players can use it to jump around the map in a different way, or with a DIFFERENT WEAPON SET? I cannot believe you are complaining about this.— Omigawa User Omigawa Wikisig.png t|c
I can see why he says it's an inverted version of Shadow Shot, because it is except for the difference that Shadow Shot only provides 1 packet of damage and this skill causes 2 packets of damage (the initial dagger one and the second pistol one). The only thing where he is wrong is that this skill is used for different purposes. I'm loving everything so far! Tjal Lee 21:29, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
I agree with the OP in that there are a large number of shadow step skills, but not the it isn't good; the whole point of the thief is in manouverability and stealth, and that does mean retreating as well as attacking. I guess it would be cool if they had one skill that did both (say, depending on your distance from your target it attacks or retreats). @Tjal, you forgot to sign Thering 17:32, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
Oh right, sorry about that :) Thanks for the note ! Tjal Lee 21:29, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
