Repair cost vs damage[edit]

The repair costs for a fully broken set and a partially broken but entirely damaged set were equal. Both at 11s48c. (217.123.16.6 16:41, 24 September 2012 (UTC))

Costs[edit]

Does item rarity affect repair costs, or is it only based on item level? --192.168.104.83 11:43, 28 September 2012 (UTC)

Quality doesn't change the cost. So your exotics are no more expensive to adventure with than blues. I tested this myself explicitly to confirm then updated the main article with a note making this clear. Becuase I too was curious about this. I also did a quick level test to see how much cheaper it'd be to use level 78 items instead of level 80 items, and level 78 items cost 1.60s per piece to repair vs. 1.64s per level 80 piece. Hardly worth the downgrade in my opinion. Redscull 06:06, 26 October 2012 (PDT)

look at the image links closer...[edit]

This page say that if we have more broken items in inventory, they are included. Next it give the price for a full set of armor. But if i look at the provided images, i see that the guy have one more broken armor piece in inventory. Or is there something i dont understand ? TulipVorlax 04:53, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

That broken item in inventory is the back slot, which I moved there from its slot so I could drag most of the hero window outside of the screen. It counts as part of the full set. But repair costs might have changed since a patch, remember seeing a higher figure, making these obsolete. Think the set there was full yellow with green back slot, if rarity is/has become a factor. Full exotic (with green back slot) is still the same cost http://i.imgur.com/ddklW.jpg (217.123.16.6 19:32, 13 October 2012 (UTC))

Validation of repair costs[edit]

"One set of fully damaged level 80 gear also costs 11s48c to repair [1]. [2]."

I removed the links above from the main article: they don't really help the average player understand the concepts and posting them here should be sufficient validation, unless other evidence is provided (and the talk page would then be the appropriate place to compare/contrast). 75.36.177.102 04:13, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

damaged vs broken[edit]

What are the differences? Does your stats still work when the armor is just broken? How about the infusion? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Yes4me (talk • contribs).

Damaged doesn't affect stats etc at all; broken acts as if that equipment slot has no stats at all. That's how I understand it, anyway. Vili 点 User talk:Vili 06:50, 25 December 2012 (UTC)
That's what I thought, but yesterday I was playing in fractal level 10, and my resistance 20 to agony didn't protect me at all (at the final boss). My back piece was damaged Yes4me 10:18, 25 December 2012 (UTC)
