Differences in how to work the fans[edit]

Basically, I noticed that there was a difference in the Old Tom fight depending whether or not his fractal was the first in the sequence or not. If the fractal is first, one person simply has to run to the back of the room and interact with the giant console there in set intervals to keep the fans active. However, if the fractal is later in the sequence then it can be justified to have at least two people on fan duty. The change is that people now need to interact with the purple objects in front of the giant console to get a crystal, and then run to one of the two smaller consoles either side of the entrance door. Both smaller consoles have to be charged with a crystal each before the giant console can be used, which once again siphons away the poison for a limited time. During the time that the fan is functioning it's possible to grab more crystals and drop them by the smaller consoles in preparation for when the fan stops functioning. - 16:12, 24 December 2012 (EDT)

Actually, it has nothing to do with fractal order. It has to do with the difficulty level. Below level 10, the crystals are not needed. At 10 and above, you need to load the crystals to operate the fan. Aznricepuff 15:46, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

Inquest[edit]

I probably wouldn't have noticed it otherwise, but I received a notification for 500 Inquest kills right after beating him. SarielV 20 x 20px 16:24, 11 March 2016 (UTC)

It's probably a mistake made by the devs. There is nothing related to the Inquest in that fractal so I don't think we should include Old Tom in that faction. --Louise (talk) 19:31, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
