"Use mud to cripple foes" Are you kidding me? σ_σ Why do they have to recycle old skill names even when they don't make sense.--GerrohUser Gerroh GerrohEmblem.gif 16:43, 11 February 2012 (UTC)

seriously right?!! Why would they use mud to slow enemies by incorporating the terrain?!! That's just ludicrous to even call something like that Muddy Terrain. Venom20 User Venom20-icon-0602-sm-black.png 16:49, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
No, I get that. Muddy Terrain in GW1 made the whole terrain "muddy", which slowed everyone. But the skill name suggests the whole area becomes muddy(as in GW1), the description suggests that you throw mud or something(Since it only affects one person), and mud shouldn't cause "cripple". Maybe slow people down, but not cripple. C'mon, think about it more before you jump to criticize. I just think they should've named it something else, instead of stretching logic to allow mud to cripple someone.--GerrohUser Gerroh GerrohEmblem.gif 16:58, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Should they have created a new condition to apply the same thing as cripple does? IMO there is no need to add duplicate names for the same conditions. Venom20 User Venom20-icon-0602-sm-black.png 17:43, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
The above is correct. "Cripple" is the generic "slow" condition in GW2, so that's what this skill applies. Skyy High 19:35, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

How's this work?[edit]

Does it target a person or an area? What's the range? Is it instant? Has anyone had a chance to use this yet? - C0c0c0 21:24, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

Found the answer to my own question during the stress test. This is a ground targeted skill. Launch the skill, select a spot on the ground, watch the ooze bubble up. - C0c0c0 14:49, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
