Talk:Mind Wrack

In the video for this skill, the "Unload" Phantasms charge at the Mesmer's enemies before shattering. I'm guessing Mind Wrack and other shatter skills don't just cause illusions to detonate with their respective effects but first cause the illusions to charge and close with a target. Making sure they get in range first is a nice, practical touch on ANet's part. --Messenger 05:08, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

Would seem so.. I don't think you can control illusions at all really so they would need to charge in to make it worth shattering them. JnewUser Jnew Tormented Scythe.png 13:49, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
I dont like it. At least not if its your target they charge. Then all your illusions would go to one single foe, which might not always be what you want. Lhimez 13:54, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
That's true. Although, ANet might make that the case to force Mesmer players to manage their illusions carefully. --Messenger 18:21, 25 December 2011 (UTC)

Damage per Illusion[edit]

Honestly i don't think the statement that the damage for each illusion goes down when you shatter more is true. Thing is, every time i do shatter with Mind Wrack it seems to be the case that the value listed in the skill is the 'per Illusion' and not the 'in total' value. Maybe it's just me but when i shatter 2 Illusions on Lvl 69 and the skill states 500 damage for that and both Illusions deal 500 damage...yeah...sorry but the statement seems false.
