"Great-great grandmother"?[edit]

Her gravestone says she's Logan's great-grandmother (though that's impossible with regards to the 250 years separating them). I'm very curious from what source the "great-great" description on this page comes from!? Titus The Third User titus the third.png 23:52, 29 May 2014 (UTC)

Not necessarily impossible. Many things could happen in Tyria to make it possible. It depends on how long humans live in Tyria and at what age they can no longer have children. There have been some legends of humans living for hundreds of years on earth. Remember we still have some Living Guild Wars 1 characters. Anzenketh (talk) 20:03, 6 June 2014 (UTC)

What if it is a living statue? There is another example of someone that may still be alive I can't remember her name though. Anzenketh (talk) 03:41, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
It's not "necessarily" impossible. But, from what we know, humans in Tyria follow the same rules of physics that we do. They seem to live no longer than approximately 80-100 years (except from King Doric, who seems to have had an unnatural long life). We know they start having kids around the age of 20.
I'm not saying it's absolutely impossible, but from the facts we do know, it does seem highly unlikely. Which is why I marked it as an anomaly and "close to impossible" on the page. If all of Gwen's decendants had kids around the age of 80, it would be unnatural - even for Tyrian standards - and I presume someone (Logan himself perhaps? ..or the books?) would have mentioned it as an important characteristic of the Thackeray lineage.
