Talk:Give firefly luminescence to Warden Annwyn

Does this event seem kinda awkward to anyone else? One of the main teachings of Ventari is "All things have a right to grow" and then straight out of your character creation instance you encounter this chick telling you to kill a bunch of fireflies to light the town lamps. Nevermind the fact that the fireflies are around town doing a fine job of lighting things up, and the fact that sylvari also glow. This is not really a topic about the event page. However, I will say that the Warden mentions its to combat the undead in the area, lighting them up, so its for the greater good :P Puk (talk) 11:49, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

After wait for 30-40min for this event, it seems this event might only accrue at Night (In game) can soneoen confirm this?

Cannot confirm, but I caught the tail end of Clear the mosquitoes that have been drawn to the firefly lamps (which follows this event) at 09:39 ST, and this event restarted at 10:05 ST. So I guess the previous event started at 09:35 ST. :35 and :05 seem too neat to be random, which suggests it's scheduled for those exact times. Dusk starts at 09:40 ST and night at 09:45 ST, so 09:35 ST wouldn't actually be at night, but it's pretty close... none of this is conclusive, but hopefully it's helpful for anybody else trying to catch this event. -- Dagger (talk) 10:21, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

• Event was up at 7:40 Tyrian time; 18:37 UTC. It was not up at 18:30 UTC, by which time it was full day, though I may have switched maps on swapping back to the former character.
• Event was up at 11:29 Tyrian time; 18:57 UTC, also during day, and untouched. Appeared to start as I walked up; so might not be only at night.
• Event started at 7:43pm Tyrian time, after waiting for 20+ minutes
• Event started at 5:30 Tyrian time, after waiting a long time
