How is this relevant to Guild Wars 2? --User Pling sig.png Pling \ talk 22:06, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

There's no reason why they shouldn't still be around. --Santax (talk · contribs) 22:09, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
Even so, they might not feature in GW2. Right now, the Forgotten haven't been mentioned in regards to GW2 (and if they have, it's probably an extremely insignificant mention), thus the Guild Wars Wiki would be better to link to via the interwiki link. I'm leaning more towards deletion than the category, to be honest. --User Pling sig.png Pling \ talk 22:14, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
Jeff implies that the forgotten will have a role in an interview by connecting them to the Facets seen in EN, and at least the message given by said facets is relevant to GW2. And @ the deletion notice: It simply needs a rework, there's plenty known on the Forgotten and to delete because the article states "little is known" then this should be deleted as well. Point is - little is known now, but things can easily be known in the future. Also to note, the Forgotten are servants to Glint who seems to be in some relation of relevance to Kralkatorrik considering the Dragonbrand. And another thing, every article on this wiki is full of "unknown" information. ^^ -- Konig/talk 00:37, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Curse you Anet, for not adding the Forgotten as a playable race!!

arah and history[edit]

in arah explorable you get to study one of the elder races (seer, mursaat, forgotten and jotun) all of which fought against the elder dragons before they went to sleep Getefix 17:40, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

Haven't done the path yet, but talking to the expert inside they speculate that the Forgotten were the ones to convert Glint to the side of good Mystic Starfish 03:00, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Forgotten were one of the 5 races that fought the dragons the first (or last) time around, together with dwarves, mursaat, seers and jotun. They were also the ones that figured out how to return free will to dragon corrupted beings and used it to convert Glint. In return, Glint (original name Glaust) helped them hide the races from the dragons. And the scholar says the last time the dragons rose was approximately 10k years ago. Which makes the 1769 BE arrival of forgotten to Tyria either a mistake, or a date when they and Glint allied with the human gods, since they were already on Tyria long before that. 93.137.200.28 13:29, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Last time, according to jotun stelae (which claims the ED have a series of cycles). And that'd be 10k BE - 11k years ago. Konig/talk
The Gods are nasty liars, from the very beginning. 87.99.40.47 20:50, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
Or the forgotten are - I mean, it was Glint, who's a close friend of the forgotten, who lied about her origins. Konig/talk 21:00, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

Life Span[edit]

It says that Josso Essher attempted to convert Kralkatorrik. Josso Essher also converted glint at sometime during the last Dragonrise. The last dragonrise occured 10,000 years ago circa to timeline, how old can forgotten be if ol' Josso converted Glint at most 10,000 years ago and then attempted to convert Kralkatorrik in 1320? You have two false pieces of information. 1) Glint was only cleansed 3,000 years prior to GW1/GW2 era. All dates surrounding Glint and when the Forgotten forced her into the ritual is 3,000 years ago, not 11,000 years ago. 2) Josso Esher is not labeled as having been among those that cleansed Glint. You might be mistaking the use of "we" in Book of Vlast, but that's referring to the Forgotten as a whole, and not himself + some others.
This said, Vissh Rakissh is over 1,000 years old in GW1 and dies between the two games. Konig (talk) 15:30, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
