Official ArenaNet Guide[edit]

Apparently there is an official guide on the forums: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/livingworld/flameandfrost/Guide-Flame-and-Frost-The-Razing/first#post1700562

Any thoughts on whether we should add it to the page? I kinda think it should go down on the External Links since it's from ArenaNet itself, but not sure. Vahkris 17:03, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

Add it as an external link. They posted similar for the previous game releases--Relyk ~ talk > 17:18, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

Detailed info[edit]

I'm assuming the idea behind the timeline section is to give an overview of the existing content and more detailed walkthroughs will be located on their respective pages? Vahkris 17:35, 27 March 2013 (UTC)

April Fools[edit]

Any thought of setting up the April Fools event page similar to Halloween or Wintersday and move/link related info to there? Vahkris 18:26, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

Super Adventure Box is actually it's own game release, so shouldn't be here at all. The entirety of April Fool's seems to be the game release this time, but I never liked making the distinction.--Relyk ~ talk > 18:36, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
That's the difficulty. We have an April Fools 2013 event page and a Super Adventure Box dungeon page. Super Adventure Box is listed under April on the game release page, we're also getting a separate April release later this month, all of this stuff was actually downloaded during the March release in preparation for April Fools, and unlike other "holiday" event stuff, there's actually nothing else other than the event (due to anything else already having come in during the March release). Hard to say the best way to organize it all. Vahkris 18:58, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
I would personally just change the first line of Super Adventure Box to something like "The Super Adventure Box is a game release and an eponymous dungeon revealed on April 1st, 2013" and incorporate it into the game releases nav. It doesn't really make sense to create a new empty page for the release or to say that the dungeon available from 1st to 30th April came with the March release. True. Super Adventure Box has a dungeon, new skins, world stuff (the Mysterious chests), new tokens, etc, but it's all for April Fools. That would work, and we could just provide all the links to other content on the main SAB page. I'm okay with that since there's nothing else besides the April Fools content in this. Super Adventure Box is a dungeon, along with a game release and achievement category.--Relyk ~ talk > 13:47, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
For the time being I had put SAB under The Razing on Game release because it didn't actually have its own update and it started seamlessly, which means it does technically belong to The Razing, but I'm still not really sure what's the best way to do it. In fact I wonder if the official page on SAB will stay like that even by the end of the month when the final Flame and Frost release will come. User Noxx Sig.png 13:54, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, honestly I'm kinda waiting until after the end of April to really consider what changes to make, if any, based on what they do with the game release page. If it goes away, probably just leave it as it is. I did capture the entire release page as one long screenshot, just in case it goes away, so I can add it to the SAB page in that case. If it stays and we make any changes, I think all we'd do is what you suggested earlier to just integrate the existing SAB page into the nav and update the beginning of the page to turn it into the release page as well and leave it at that, and just make sure that page has all relevant info somewhere on it.
