wouldnt this be ace?[edit]

I was reading the manga yureka and I thought that the skill 'Fire Trails' would be ace (a skill that makes a trail of fire in the mage's steps) lok at it in action here on page 14[1]

I also found this one[2] XD --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Getefix (talk) .

Please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~) :). But yeh, Fire Trails would be fun I guess, lol. Use Fire Trails, use an IMS and just run around enemies, watch them burn. --Naoroji My Contributions 17:36, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Have we seen this skill?[edit]

You might have noticed each of the videos has the elementalist with a different glow on their hands? Dirty for earth, static white glow for air, drippy white glow for water, red glow for fire. In the meteor shower video I think the first thing the character does is use fire attunement. The character starts out without any glow on their hands, it then shows a clear AoE effect not related to the shower and then the on-going passive effect of the glowing hands seen in all fire related skills is visible. I've convinced myself it's true so would like to include a note on the page. What do you all think? -- Aspectacle User Aspectacle.png 09:13, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

It's likely, but it's also speculation. I think we should wait.-- Shew 21:09, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
But how could the Elementalist be using Fire Attunement if it says that it will not take up a slot on the skill bar? ~ Bow 23:28, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
I'm gonna go ahead and speculate that that's somewhat tied into Traits. --SirrushUser Sirrush sig.jpg 23:30, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
Attunements instead of weapon slots, imo. Your weapon choice bar replaced with an attunement choice bar. -- Aspectacle User Aspectacle.png 23:40, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
I don't think thats right, Aspectacle, since they have said that an elementalist's attunement effects their weapon skills. --User Phnzdvn sig.pnghnzdvn 06:53, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
We've been told eles have only one weapon slot so to change weapons they must be out of combat, but they can change attunements like the warrior can change their weapons during combat (albeit with energy cost and activation time rather than a cool down). The similarity makes me think the mechanism for changing weapons or a very similar one will be used to change attunements for the elementalist. -- Aspectacle User Aspectacle.png 22:50, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

Reference bug?[edit]

So there seems to be a bug that the reference tags doesn't work with that table list there. -- Konig/talk 09:26, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

Yes. There was a conversation on poke's page User_talk:Poke#References about this recently. I think the DPL should take precedence. Ideally we wouldn't need references on most wiki pages in future. -- Aspectacle User Aspectacle.png 09:30, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

Recharge?[edit]

Why is the recharge listed as 10/20? I thought it was either 1 second or 10 seconds? -- Frozzen 02:50, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

That wasn't 1 and 10, it was something like 2 and 8, and either it's 10/20 before you start applying the attunement cooldown reductions, or something else with this outdated. But without experience from beta (it's on non-disclosure, unless we get word from someone who played as press, and knows the numbers and how the reductions affect it), we won't know for sure for a while. ~~ User Kiomadoushi sig.png Kiomadoushi 02:57, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Having observed this video, I'm fairly sure it's 1/10... -- Frozzen 07:51, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

Feel the fires of Balthazar?[edit]

I haven't heard this quote from my ele (human female) at all recently when fully attuning to fire... was it removed as a reference to the whole events of PoF? I'm curious if human eles on accounts that haven't bought PoF will still say this or not. Atelia (talk) 04:47, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
