Crusader Deborah[edit]

There's another NPC by this name that shows up late in Orr if you choose to go with the Vigil's plan of using Charr tanks. Strange thing is, her appearance changes from mission to mission, and she exists even if one did not pick the Dead Sister background. Therefore I think they're two separate people, and it's just a coincidence. Vili 点 User talk:Vili 20:26, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

I heard somewhere in the forum that you can meet your sister again in Orr, and she joined the vigil. As far as I understand how the Orr story is implemented, I think Deborah and Crusader Deborah are the same character and every character of any race can meet her. The changing appearance could be a bug that you encountered, because you didn't pick the dead sister background. Logan never ask you where are you from, so the story just takes the first model of Debs that it can find, which can change from case to case.
All I just wrote is highly speculative, but if you encountered this issue it could be a good course of action to post this in the forum and see if a Dev can clear this up. - Yandere Talk to me... 21:27, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
My wife and I played through our personal stories together, always picking different options when the story branched and sometimes just replaying a chapter to see what was different. Some of the people I met in my storyline showed up in her chapters and vice versa; we also noticed some characters that our other characters had seen in their storylines. So I think they're just bringing in as many of the story NPCs as they can to try and tie everything together. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 21:36, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

This still seems to be the case. Even though I went through the Dead Sister arc and chose Canthan background which was correctly reflected when saving her in Kessex Hills, Deborah looked Ascalonian in Marching Orders. The dialogue does confirm that she is the same character though, since you will refer to each other as sisters. Seems like it's still (/again) bugged. //Edit: in The Steel Tide she seems to be consistently Canthan based on my choice in the past. LuneNoire (talk) 11:35, 17 April 2022 (UTC)

Pact[edit]

Technically, if we go by that logic, we should put the members of all three orders in the Pact page, but we don't. I prefer adding them to one specific order if they specify it in-game. I only put NPCs in the Pact category if they help the Pact but they are not part of any order like Merri Sunbower. Louise 20:16, 13 March 2015 (UTC)

Not all members of the Orders are members of the Pact. The Pact takes *portions* of each Order (and other groups) for its members, not all. This is why the Pact wasn't involved with Season 1, but the Orders were. Think of each Priory/Vigil/Whispers member that's in Orr as a special and very large task force of the respective Order that has Trahearne as a unit leader. Konig 20:20, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
I understand your point, I just personally prefer to put NPCs in the Pact if they are not part of any orders. Kinda like Brun Ingotspitter, which could be found at Camp Resolve. His affiliation is not specified, so I put him in the Pact organization. Louise 20:24, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
Brun is Iron Legion. But that's why we have manual category additions. We put the "most important/obvious/influential" in the infobox, and others down below. Unless it's deemed worth being able to add multiple affiliations in the infobox. But we put an NPC in all affiliation categories that they belong to. Konig 20:48, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
Ok, I can agree with that, but maybe just do it with unique story characters like in this case Deborah and Brun or like Benn Tenstrikes. Louise 21:20, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
