How do you access Artesian Waters? Drunken Bulldog 04:27, 28 October 2012 (PDT)

Solved it. Jump in the river and swim south of Penitent Path on the map. Look to the eastern shore and you'll find an entrance to Forgotten Stream. The entrance is just south of the arch directly north of e in V'e'rdance Drunken Bulldog 04:34, 28 October 2012 (PDT)

28th PoI[edit]

Er-r-r... Huston, we have a problem. Anyone can find it? MalGalad 01:45, 25 March 2013 (UTC)

The dungeon icon sits right on top of it, and it has the exact same name: The Ruined City of Arah. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 03:47, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
I have another idea. That The Ruined City of Arah PoI looks like being in a group of PoIs, that serve a purpose of linking dungeon's entrances ([[Chat link format/0x04 codes/Uncategorized|uncategorized]] points, IDs 1732 to 1739). But I've found another PoI in the Cursed Shore, not related to any such logical group: Jofast's Camp, ID 1260, link [&BOwEAAA=]. It must be hiding behind the waypoint, so I'm not sure if it exists for real or just a remnant of some ancient beta stage. MalGalad 02:50, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
I can confirm that Jofast's Camp is no longer a PoI, it's been replaced with a waypoint. The Ruined City of Arah is a PoI hiding behind the dungeon icon. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 02:53, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
The problem is that it means, that every zone with a dungeon contains PoI under dungeon icon. And... they don't count towards map completion. I doubt that Arah is the only exclusion, but, well, I'll check this when my character grows up. Until then, feel free to undo my edits. P.S. just checked, Caudecus's Manor's PoI doesn't "show up" when going to entrance for the first time and doesn't count for map completion. Have to be the same for every other PoI under dungeon icon... MalGalad 09:40, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
Why does this mean that other dungeons must have a PoI hidden under the dungeon icon? They don't. Arah is the only one that has a PoI in addition to the dungeon icon. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 13:38, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
No, you're wrong. Just as I said, look for the... meh, that pages was cleaned. So, now look on the dungeons page, where you can see in the third table for each dungeon there's a Dungeon (map icon).pngentrance point. Eley've separated them into another category, but I don't mind. Just as I said, IDs 1732 to 1739 link to the dungeon entrances. This could be either a PoI under the dungeon icon, or a new type of link (which one is more possible, huh?). Just.. link that IDs in-game, and you will see I am right. PoIs pop up in the "notifications" area on the right side of the screen (above the minimap), dungeon entrances do not. I remember having a PoI pop up like that for Arah because it surprised me, since there wasn't a PoI for any other dungeon. Take any character below level 30 through Plains of Ashford, there is no PoI at the Catacombs entrance. I'll try to get a character below level 80 out to Arah's entrance to show the PoI without the dungeon icon. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 15:35, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
Just walked up to Crucible of Eternity for the first time. I did not get a PoI popup, and 6 PoI I unlocked on this map are all elsewhere and accounted for --zeeZUser ZeeZ Sig.png (talk) 16:06, 31 March 2013 (UTC)

And just checked, The Ruined City of Arah PoI doesn't pop up. MalGalad 10:34, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Pillars?[edit]

Do we know what the significance is of the two giant pillars? They rise up to seemingly endless heights, one from Cathedral of Silence and one nearby Caer Shadowfain. I can't seem to find any lore on these. ~ A R A ~ (talk) 01:54, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
