In-game description[edit]
Is that actually the in-game description ? That looks more like a cut-paste gone wrong, but I don't have a 400 Jeweler yet to test it out, so... 93.10.175.64 07:24, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
- Should be the correct name, because in german it's also called Candy-Corn-Orichalcum-Amulett --Cloned (talk) 07:48, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
- You mean the lack of stats? Read the note at the bottom. This is because it used to include Magic Find - that attribute was removed from all equipment a few months ago, and any fixed recipe that included it was converted to a "pick your own stats" item. —Dr Ishmael 13:31, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, it is. This item has suffix_item_id:24545, which is Exquisite Opal Jewel. —Dr Ishmael 19:13, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
- Oh, I see now, having compared it to other items. It just looks weird with no stats and just the suffix jewel. In-game description is a bit of a misnomer as "exquisite opal jewel" is in no way a description. No stat items aren't particularly common, I suppose, so meh. Also, I knew I'd seen a stat choices template somewhere but I forgot how logically named they are so didn't bother looking. ^^ — snograt 19:51, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
- I wonder if we even really need that attribution. —Dr Ishmael 19:55, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
Downstream pages broken[edit]
The consolidation of the crafting pages broke downstream pages that relied on this page, while also losing information about the stat selections possible. I would like to restore this page and find a way to merely display relevant information in the Orichalcum Amulet page. There are similar issues with the other levels of Candy Corn amulet. The broken page is Halloween_recipes
- The selectable stats is not lost, it's on Orichalcum Amulet and the CC entry clearly says "see below." —Dr Ishmael 21:43, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
- Yep, but the problem was this bit - which, prior to my edit, was producing lots of smw error triangles instead of links :p
- The icon is still currently broken because it is truncating the name of the "item data object" to remove stuff after the # sign. I don't know why we coded it to do that when all the item subobjects should have icons defined.
- Current code:
| {{item icon|{{#sub:{{{6}}}|0|{{#pos:{{{6}}}|#}}}}|{{#show:{{{6}}}|?Has canonical name}}|large=+}} {{#ifexpr:{{{5|0}}}>1|(x{{{5}}})}}
- Proposed code:
| {{item icon|{{{6}}}|{{#show:{{{6}}}|?Has canonical name}}|large=+}} {{#ifexpr:{{{5|0}}}>1|(x{{{5}}})}}
- I don't want to make the change without asking, because it is approaching midnight and I don't like editing high visibility templates when I'm not at my best. -Chieftain Alex 22:35, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
- I was addressing the part where he said, "while also losing information about the stat selections possible." I didn't have time (at the time) to address the rest.
- Anyway, yes, your solution looks correct.
{{item icon|Gold Amulet#item17}}
== Gold Amulet#item17. —Dr Ishmael 00:20, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
- Good spot with canonical name not being necessary to pass to the template either.. -Chieftain Alex 07:16, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
