"Braham Eirsson" is used several times as this character's name. I am not altogether sure that this shortening of the name is the right thing to do. --Claret (talk) 10:50, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Same here, this is a wiki, the original complete names should have a priority over game mechanics.--Lon-ami (talk) 12:44, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
Well, I kind of disagree. Braham is fine. I didn't even know he had a last name before this discussion, but I was able to find him because the article is name like he is named in-game. Which in my book has priority over how the character is named lore-wise. This is a wiki about a game after all. - Yandere Talk to me... 12:50, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
He's named "Braham Eirsson" in-game in multiple places. John doe can be named John or Mr Doe - his name is still John Doe. --Claret (talk) 12:55, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
Logan Thackeray is named Logan etc in many places, maybe we should change his page to Logan. --Claret (talk) 13:08, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
I think I get your point. Perhaps I didn't make myself clear.
Braham and Rox is obivously the famous pair from Flame and Frost. Captain Ellen Kiel on the other hand was known as Inspector Ellen Kiel until she got promoted. Logan Thackeray however was never Captain Logan Thackeray but he technical holds that titel. The current system for NPCs does not seem very consistent from a lore perspective. Sometimes articles use the full name, the full name with title, just the first name and in cases of Captain "Bonny" Anne Reid even a nick name in between.
The only reason this follows any kind of logic is that we use the names the game uses when you look at their name plates of the NPCs. I don't say this is good practice or anything, but currently the naming of the articles is a least consistent from a game perspective. By the way this discussion is probably more appropriate on the community portal. - Yandere Talk to me... 15:54, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
Seems reasonable  :) --Claret (talk) 15:58, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Profession[edit]

I seem to remember him being referred to as a guardian officially in the lore somewhere, but is he now a dragonhunter? He carries (but does not seem to wield) a bow in Buried Insight. 71.230.199.98 03:48, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

Dragon hunter is the guardian specialization. So he is technically both ;) -Darqam (talk) 03:51, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

He is carrying Eir's bow. He wouldn't just leave that awesome bow (I mean, have you seen it?) on Eir's body. I don't know if he ever uses it, but I would expect him to keep it regardless. TiffanySmith.8216 (talk) 21:47, 15 September 2018 (UTC)

He actually does end up using it in combat. Ever since Season 4 Ep.1, he rarely even uses his mace/shield combbo in Combat situations anymore. He uses the DH's Longbow 1 and 2 skills, and I think i've even seen him use Dragon's Maw (DH Elite skill), but I could be wrong about that. Saiabus (talk) 23:47, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
To add to this, Braham can be seen ussing Wings of Resolve during his reintroduction in season 4. --Doctor Refrence (talk) 21:56, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
