  • Evon Gnashblade is found in Lions Arch up top above the trading post NPCs --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Anzenketh (talk).
  • The Black Lion Trading Company helps people with costume and weapon previews. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:J0el (talk).

Gem Store and Circular Reference[edit]

Trading Post links to Currency Exchange, which forwards to this page, stating that "Gem trading has a different fee than gold to item trading. See the Currency Exchange page for details." However, this piece of information is gone. Additionally, this page even links to Currency Exchange, although this only forwards here again. I guess someone deleted a page that was actually still needed? Could someone add the missing info to the page, if you really don't want Currency Exchange back? --91.64.116.217 05:43, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

An Idea[edit]

Sure would be nice if Armor category was broken into Armor, Armor Fine, Armor Medium & Armor Heavy -- not yet signed on

Global?[edit]

Does the Trading Company work across all servers or does every server have their own? would be nice if someone could add this info

The Trading Post is global, across all servers and its article includes this info in the first line. 75.37.16.51 23:16, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
It just says it can be accessed from everywhere with a hotkey, but not that its linked across all servers.

Web-based BLTC[edit]

Is true that: While items can only be put up for sale when in-game, it is possible to browse, bid, or cancel auctions and offers when out of-game and logged into a web browser. A sale can be completed whilst the seller is offline, with the coin going into an account bank. The marketplace is capable of displaying the history and trends of item values. There’s also going to be out of game support for the Market on the web & mobile platforms such as Android & iOS(iPad & iPod support too). source

If so, then why there is no such thing now?

Limiting Access[edit]

The latest revision, 18:34, 17 May 2015‎ Mora (Talk | contribs), only highlights one of many methods to access this feature, (default: O). I was under the impression that centralizing multiple access methods into a single section is preferred. Access methods that appear to be entirely missing include:

~ 1Maven (talk) 19:03, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

There is no need to be that redundant. Mora 22:57, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
Three issues are still not addressed:
  • In the Overview section, either Buy More Gems should be listed under Currency exchange or Buy Gems should be removed under Gem store. Both or neither.
  • While consumables are mentioned in Trading Post NPC, so is the default key. Why include one and not the other? Why is one redundant and not the other?
  • While graphic user interface is specified, it is difficult to locate the section dealing with Black Lion Trading Company without adding #Menu bar to the link. ~ 1Maven (talk) 19:45, 23 May 2015 (UTC)

Occasional blue aura around icon[edit]

I thought this occurred when an item was sold, i.e. the gold amount, increased after a sale. I have noticed this aura after first logging into the game, as well. Is it an indication that the gold value of the items waiting pick-up from the TP are greater than a certain value? I'm currently 5g 61s and the aura is not there. --Hesione (talk) 01:46, 13 March 2020 (UTC)

The aura appears if there is a new promoted item on the Gem Store page. EDIT: It is a relatively new change, but yeah we should document it. ~SimeUser Sime Maraca Choya.pngTalk 01:51, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
