Do we really need it?[edit]

I was wondering if NPCs already in a category found on the Bestiary page really needs to be on here. Like for example, the sylvan hound and the treant, which are already part of the Plant category. We could also put the Boar and the Siamoth into the Porcine category. Also put the Dolyak, Deer, Moose and Cow into the Animal category. There is also the Dolphin and the Jellyfish which can be put into the Fish category. I just think it would get rid of some unnecessary icons and make some space. Louise 21:58, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

Actually, I'm looking at this list and see alot of potential. I think we can combine sections here and make internal pages just like this inside of said placement. For example, I intend to create Livestock/Wild Game. Inside Livestock would be Chicken, Moa, Dolyak, Cows, anything we find in the world being treated as an agricultural animal. Inside Wild Game, You would find Wolves, Felines, Fish, Deer, Moose, etc but would -also- include Moa, Dolyaks and anything that is also found in the wild. These pages would merely both intertwine with each other but with the purpose of streamlining and finding what information you want out of this easily. Of course only if there are no objections. (PS I will change these to my account name when I make it later.)
Actually after thinking about this for a minute rather than Wild Game may be smarter to just leave it at Wild. - Which doesn't nessicarily have to mean that all of the animals within the list are untameable - simply that they are basely a wild animal as opposed to a chicken which typically doesn't do very well as a wild animal. I won't touch this for a few days, in case anyone has good feedback or a problem with my thought process. Attaching that it may also be equally cleaner to use Domestic rather than livestock. 155.91.45.231 08:25, 17 January 2016 (UTC)

Revert[edit]

"Messy edits just to spite? Those groups still make no sense." — Mora I made a best attempt to execute what I understood was requested. As an supposed expert and admin, I expect more of you. Rather then being hostile and needlessly abusive, perhaps cleaning up my "mess" would be a more appropriate response then blanket deletion. You criticize without offering anything superior. Since my efforts have been throughly rejected, perhaps the Race and Minor race pages should be restored until we have a better solution. Or simply use your power to squash dissent. ~ 1Maven (talk) 23:42, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

Best I understood, no changes - especially to such a degree - were requested for this page. Certainly not things irrelevant to the page like a table of playable races' tutorials and starting locations, or NPC rankings (which is downright 100% irrelevant to this article in every way, shape, and form). Personally, while I do see room for some changes, everything' I saw you add is either unnecessary, irrelevant, or a hindrance to the purpose of the article. Apparently you were trying to merge multiple articles that are of different topics into one - and that doesn't work. Might as well try merging Zhaitan with Zhaitan's Reach (P.S.: please don't). You were taking comments about your created articles and misinterpreting the purpose of removing said articles - which was done because you added a ton of fanfiction (the wiki doesn't do that) and unnecessary alteration of terminology to create a separate page for sub-categorizations (which only happens in certain cases where it's deemed worthwhile to). Admin/sysop status has nothing to do with normal editing of the wiki, but for the record, Mora is not an admin. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 02:53, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

Suggestion for all these race pages[edit]

The lore on all these pages is great, but there's almost no mechanical information. It would be really nice to know what type of crafting materials karka drop, what steal skills you can get from risen, which elementals have permanent stability, or if there's a slaying sigil for Jotun, for example. The "Types" section is also just a big list of everything in the category and not helpful. A nice chart with links to normal/veteran/elite/champion versions, maybe with friendly NPCs or creatures with specific names in a different area. Any kind of organization would be better. 76.84.39.34 20:54, 25 April 2018 (UTC)

Seer image?[edit]

Surely there's a seer image somewhere we can use? ~~Trevor95251 17:45, 1 October 2018 (UTC)

Only Guild Wars ones, I'm afraid. —Ventriloquist 20:29, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
