Ahhh, Ascalon. No more flooding of trade chat here, I hope. Cress Arvein User Cress Arvein sig.JPG 02:26, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Not unless the ghosts that inhabit it are selling. Lord Belar 04:40, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

The ghosts in Ascalon City are probably our characters from OGW. 129.12.232.121 23:53, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
I don't remember my character being a member of the Ascalon Guard, who fought during the last battle and was incinerated by the final flame of Magdaer. Vili User talk:Vili 07:50, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
I sure would hope not. Cress Arvein User Cress Arvein sig.JPG 02:44, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

30 years after the searing? Was the king 100 years old? Ramei Arashi 05:47, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
Of course, they had Monks back in them days remember? 90.200.54.223 17:32, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
He's about 60 in Prophecies and Factions (the "2 years later part" - i.e., 1072 AE). He'd be just under 90 when he called the Foefire. Seeing how Kisu possibly lived until in his 120s and the exceptional lifespan of humans was about 105-110, Adelbern's age is not surprising. -- Konig/talk 21:47, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
If Humans live to be 120, then how old do Asura live to be? EiveTalk 21:55, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
According to Ree, the exceptional asuran life is 120. Humans live 5-10% shorter than asura. Kisu is a very exceptional case. -- Konig/talk 23:27, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
Meh, I guess I shouldn't have questioned logic errors in a game about dragons and undead. EiveTalk 23:28, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
I smell an expansion, of course once GW2 is finally released. - Lucian Shadowborn User Aios sig.png 23:17, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

hmm...[edit]

any1 interested in raiding the vault? all we have to do is jump down the hole where the foefire is and try and unlock it and we get loads of gold (worked well enough for the claw of kahn ur retrieval arc) ooh we might need a golem's eye to deal with the ghosts.... WTB GOLEM'S EYE!!! Getefix 18:04, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

spoiler maybe? --User The Holy Dragons sig.pngThe Holy Dragons 18:09, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
You have fun loosing your hand. :D -- Konig/talk 19:39, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
we let asurans do it ofcourse =D or a nice lil golem --User The Holy Dragons sig.pngThe Holy Dragons 19:48, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
Asura. Asura in plural is asura (this is actually the case for most gw races). -- Konig/talk 19:54, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

The Timeline shows the Searing in 1070 AE and the Foefire in 1090 AE, but this page claims the Foefire happened thirty years after the Searing. Does anyone know which is correct? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.236.105.197 (talk).

Timeline is. Correcting this page. Konig/talk 17:40, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
