Trivia

• The object appears to be a Relic, an item used in a Guild Wars PvP mode called Heroes' Ascent. To score points, players would transport the Relic from its spawn point to the Ghostly Hero, an NPC physically very similar to Turai Ossa.
• The same model is also used by an ancient weapon that destroyed a city located in the northwest portion of the Arid Sea.
• The Ancient Weapon and its method of storage here are both references to the Ark of the Covenant from the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark.
• The dialogue description of the Ancient Weapon "...its purpose is unclear" may be an inside joke referring to the fact that the functionality of this item in Guild Wars was never implemented.
