Many of the Refugees were displaced charr and norn fleeing the sudden attacks of the Molten Alliance, many becoming one before knowledge of the alliance was clear. They were often accompanied by Dolyaks.

A number of them became settlers in Southsun Cove later on. Most of the norn refugees have settled in Cragstead since.
