Protect Gamarien as he scouts Wychmire Swamp is a level 14 dynamic event that occurs in Wychmire Swamp. Gamarien is near Falias Thorp waypoint when available to start the event. Falias Thorp must not be contested for Gamarien to appear.

Gamarien: The call of the Wyld Hunt brought me here. Will you help?

Event start: Gamarien: I had a feeling you would answer the call. Let's head out.; Gamarien: The wildlife here has always been aggressive, but it's become more so lately. Something is driving them out.

When a citizen appears followed by Nightmare Courtiers: Gamarien: Stay low. We can't afford to be seen by the Nightmare Court.

When the citizen dies: Nightmare Courtier (1): She didn't make it very far.; Nightmare Courtier (2): I love it when they run. A shame it was such a short chase.; Nightmare Courtier (1): Now, what to do with the body?; Nightmare Courtier (2): Leave it. The swamp will take care of it.; Nightmare Courtier (1): Wait, what's that over there?; Nightmare Courtier (2): Looks like we'll have some fun after all. Get them!

After defeating the Nightmare Courtiers, when Gamarien examines the dead citizen: Gamarien: At least now we can offer that poor soul some measure of justice.; Gamarien: So much wasted life... How could my own people fall so far? I don't understand it.

Approaching the Heart of Wychmire Swamp: Gamarien: There are too many to fight. There must be another way around.; Gamarien: So many husks — we must be close.

The time limit to revive Gamarien does not reset once he have been downed multiple times.
