“In the ESL Guild Wars 2 Pro League, 8 teams per region (North America and Europe) will compete for $400,000USD in cash prizes over the course of two seasons. During regular multi-week season play, teams will face off one time each in a best-of-three format. At the end of each season the top 2 teams per region move on to play in the Season Final at ESL Studios. Cash prizes will be awarded to all teams in the league. All matches will be streamed on the official Guild Wars 2 Twitch channel.

Pro Leagues are structured PvP leagues for the top players and teams. Players can compete in the Guild Challenger League for a chance to enter the Pro League during seasons.
Rewards[edit]
ESL Guild Wars 2 Pro Leagues gather eight teams from each region to compete for rewards from a prize pool of $400,000 USD. These leagues cross over between two seasons leading to the Season Final, which has its own prize pool of $200,000 USD.

- Second place: $9,000, entry into Season Finals
- Third place: $8,000
- Fourth place: $7,000
- Fifth place: $5,000
- Sixth place: $4,500
- Seventh place: $3,500

- First place: $50,000
- Second place: $25,000
- Third place: $12,500
- Fourth place: $12,500
