Mender
Menders are sylvari healers. They utilize a mixture of magic and alchemical potions to heal sylvari and Sylvan Hounds, and can sometimes be found tending to ordinary gardens. They are a necessity amongst sylvari society due to the differences between sylvari and other races; in turn, many menders do not know how to tend to non-plant races. Along with physical healing, menders assist the mental and spiritual aspects of sylvari psychology, especially after events that bring sylvari close to the Nightmare.
Menders are also tasked with seeing to the awakening of newborn sylvari, ensuring that Dreamers enter Tyria as smoothly as possible. Some are also seen caring for sylvari who have not yet awakened, tending to their pods and ensuring a calm and soothing environment.
