Legendary Insights, commonly abbreviated as Li or LI, are a currency obtained by defeating bosses in raids and challenge mode Strike Missions. They are stored in the wallet and are used in the creation of the PvE Legendary Armor and Coalescence.

  • 15 from Heart of Thorns raid encounters.
  • 10 from Path of Fire raid encounters.
  • 5 from End of Dragons Challenge Mote strike missions, including season 1's Old Lion's Court.
  • 2 from Secrets of the Obscure Challenge Mote strike missions
  • 1 from the Weekly Cantha Strikes achievement.
• The original description, prior to the July 19 2022 game update, was "Used in the creation of legendary armor at the Mystic Forge."
  • Since the same game update, Legendary Insights replaced Legendary Divinations in every Path of Fire raid container and boss loot. Any remaining LD might be converted to LI either via a double-click or through a raid vendor.

Trivia

• Assault Knights' Magnificent Coffer awards the only Legendary Insight available to people without expansions. However, legendary equipment crafting is still locked behind owning them.
