Dialogue[edit]
- Event start
- Refugee: This energy core is going to cause more harm than good. We're better off ditching it in the jungle.
- Refugee Ejint: Where anyone can find it? No. We need to keep it away from the Inquest until it can be properly inspected.
- Refugee: (gasp) That golem. Is it active?
- Refugee Ejint: It must be activated by proximity to the energy core. Let the golem carry it until we get back to the encampment.
- Inquest Technician: Don't allow them to escape!
- Inquest Assistant: Pursue them!
- Inquest Extinguisher: They're escaping! After them!
- Inquest Technician: Head them off at the pass, or something!
- Inquest Extinguisher: Don't let them get away!
- Mark I Golem: Energy—unstable. Explosion—imminent.
- Mark I Golem: Energy—unstable. Explosion—imminent.
- On success after successful Destroy all intrafluxion nodes before the golem energy core is fully charged
- Mark I Golem: Power—surging. Transporting—survivors. (dies)
- Gliga: You're back! And what have you brought with you?
- Refugee Ejint: Look. It belongs to the Inquest. It's some kind of imbued golem energy core.
- Gliga: Now this is very troubling. Keeping it here will only bring us more conflict.
- Refugee Ejint: I plan to have it destroyed once it has been given a thorough examination. It may be booby trapped.
- Gliga: You've made an excellent point. I do believe we've had quite enough catastrophes for one lifetime.
- On success after failed Destroy all intrafluxion nodes before the golem energy core is fully charged [verification requested]
- Gliga: You survived! What were the Inquest plotting this time?
- Refugee Ejint: Golem activation, using the most disgraceful form of power available: life energy.
- Refugee Ejint: We were lucky to escape with our lives.
- Gliga: So, their plan failed then?
- Refugee Ejint: We would be dead otherwise. (sigh) And I was starting to think my life couldn't get any worse.
- Gliga: You've made an excellent point. I do believe we've had quite enough catastrophes for one lifetime.
- On failure, where all of the Refugees die to the Inquest attacks
The Mark I Golem will be escorted back to the lab by the remaining Inquest units. On arriving at the gate, the Mark I Golem has the following line:
- Mark I Golem: Destination—confirmed. Inquest—outer—complex.
