Walkthrough[edit]

This event has no prerequisite, and precedes a defense similar to Prevent the relighting of the braziers.

Destroyable gates block the ramps leading into the Castrum from the east and west. The artillery secured by the event to the southeast can be used to initially clear the eastern ramp and destroy the gates. Once inside the gates, be aware that there is little safe ground. The Tribune enjoys a leisurely stroll of the whole of the Castrum.

Respawns are very fast and will likely need to be dealt with alongside the Flame Legion Tribune. Turrets inside the event area have exceptionally high hit points, quickly respawn, and are positioned to deter use of the large columns in the main portion of the Castrum as cover from the Tribune. A lower level hosts a swarm of lava elementals that will readily attack anyone who falls from the higher levels. The difficulty of eliminating the turrets and density of tough-for-level mobs encourages fighting on cauldrons' higher platform.

The Tribune's primary attack is a slow-moving fireball that strikes for several thousand initial damage and burns for an extended time. Characters with no additional toughness or vitality, no healing or condition removal, may be killed by a single direct hit. However, if fought at range, the fireballs are easily sidestepped and dodged. The burn effect is applied in a small area of effect around the fireball's impact, and can penetrate cover. Periodically, the Tribune will teleport to a random position in the Castrum. Be aware that, if fighting him on the periphery of the area, he may reset if this teleport takes him too far from his current target. Otherwise, the Tribune is largely immobile except to reacquire line of sight with the subject of his assaults.
