Disambig icon.png This article is about the personal story mission. For the norn tradition, see Great Hunt.

The norn pride themselves on their ferocity and the success of their hunts. Each year, young heroes gather to hunt and to boast of their accomplishments. Only the most impressive are chosen to go on that year's Great Hunt.

— In-game description

The Great Hunt is a short tutorial for the players that have just created their norn character. This tutorial has the player gather trophies which are needed to participate in the great hunt. Eventually, the player walks with Eir Stegalkin to defeat a group of Ice Wurm Hatchlings and eventually Issormir, the wurm boss. Players can encounter other players throughout the tutorial.

Walkthrough[edit]

To complete the tutorial, although you will be directed through a series of tasks, you only need to be in the same immediate area as Issormir when it dies (you do not even need to attack it) to complete the tutorial and be sent to the open world.

As soon as the introduction cutscene ends, talk to Thora Griffonbane, who will explain the rules of the hunt to you. You must gather one of three valuable trophies from foes, which take the form of a dynamic event. The trophy isn't an actual item, you just need to complete a related event. The three foes for the hunt will be within the area indicated by the green line. They are indicated by the green starburst and often accompanied by lesser versions of their kind. You only need to kill one of the given game animals, but can continue for more karma and experience.

Once you have collected at least one trophy, go back to where you started off and talk to Ido the Tanner to gain your place in the Great Hunt. If the final event is not ready and the door to the mountain top is closed, you can participate in the festival moot events. Optionally, many nearby NPCs such as Varg and Mikkel Toivosson who may play a role in your personal story can be spoken to, providing lore and flavor.

Eir will call you when the hunt starts. Follow her up the stairs to find the arena of the battle. Your objective there is to enrage Issormir by defeating Wurm Hatchlings. Once enough are dead, Issormir appears and you must fight the wurm. Issormir hits hard in melee, and has an AoE attack too. Watch out for red circles on the ground and you'll be able to avoid it, or dodge if necessary. Additional Hatchlings will spawn during the fight. You may want to defeat them for additional experience and to support your allies. However, Issormir is the real target. Once Issormir is dead, the cutscene triggers automatically and the mission ends.

Dialogue[edit]

Opening cinematic after character creation:

<Character name>: I am norn, hunter of the wild, born of the free and rugged Shiverpeak mountains.
<Character name>: In the far north, my people fought our greatest enemy: Jormag, a dragon of frost and snow.
<Character name>: The dragon broke our pride, but it did not break our spirit.
<Character name>: In our last hour, we heard the voices of four of the Spirits of the Wild: Bear, Raven, Snow Leopard, Wolf.
<Character name>: They called us south, away from certain annihilation. We founded the Great Lodge of Hoelbrak and claimed new hunting grounds.
<Character name>: Some say we should not fight Jormag. I say the greatest risk is to wager nothing at all.
<Character name>: One day, a hero will lead us home, and we will break the dragon's icy grip.
(with Strength chosen during Character Creation)
<Character name>: I was born in the fire of combat. My spirit has been forged and tempered like steel.
<Character name>: Like my ancestors before me, I seek glory. One day, I will take my place among the heroes of the norn.
<Character name>: My strength is a gift from the Spirits of the Wild. With it, I can hold back the tide. I can move mountains. I can overcome anything that stands in my way.
<Character name>: I am still untested, but already, my deeds have earned me friendship and great respect.
<Character name>: Each year, a Great Hunt is called in Hoelbrak. Only the best among us are invited to participate.
<Character name>: I shall use my might to collect trophies to prove my worth, then drink and boast of my victories.
<Character name>: I accept this challenge. I relish it. Come, danger. Come, adventure!
<Character name>: In the lodges and halls of my people, my strength will make me immortal.
(with Cunning chosen)
<Character name>: I weave the skein of wisdom. My cunning confounds lesser foes.
<Character name>: Like my ancestors before me, I seek glory. One day, I will take my place among the heroes of the norn.
<Character name>: The Spirits of the Wild have given me the gifts of trickery and cleverness. I challenge the skill of my enemy. I am the predator. They are the prey.
<Character name>: I am still untested, but already, my deeds have earned me friendship and great respect.
<Character name>: Each year, a Great Hunt is called in Hoelbrak. Only the best among us are invited to participate.
<Character name>: I'll prove my worth with guile, collecting trophies to show my prowess. Then, I will drink and boast of my victories!
<Character name>: I accept this challenge. I relish it. Come, danger. Come, adventure!
<Character name>: In the lodges and halls of my people, my cunning will be remembered through the ages.
(with Intuition chosen)
<Character name>: Victory, like any other prey, must be Hunted. I trust my instincts, the voice of my soul, to guide the way.
<Character name>: Like my ancestors before me, I seek glory. One day, I will take my place among the heroes of the norn.
<Character name>: The Spirits of the Wild whisper their secrets to my heart. I trust in faith and follow where instinct guides me, and it has never led me wrong.
<Character name>: I am still untested, but already, my deeds have earned me friendship and great respect.
<Character name>: Each year, a Great Hunt is called in Hoelbrak. Only the best among us are invited to participate.
<Character name>: With bravery—and a little good fortune—I will collect trophies to prove my worth. Then, I will drink and boast my my victories!
<Character name>: I accept this challenge. I relish it. Come, danger. Come, adventure!
<Character name>: In the lodges and halls of my people, fortune—and the Spirits—will smile upon my legend.
<Character name>: This is my story.

Approaching Thora Griffonbane:

Thora Griffonbane: Hey! Over here! You don't want to miss a chance for glory, do you?

When speaking to Thora Griffonbane (cinematic):

Thora Griffonbane: Hail, hero! Are you here to take part in this year's Great Hunt?
<Character name>: Of course I am! Just tell me what needs to be done and stand clear.
Thora Griffonbane: Hunt down the wildest animals you can find and take trophies from your kills. Present only the finest to Ido the Tanner to prove your worth.
Thora Griffonbane: Whoever has the best trophy, and whose bravery is the greatest, will be invited to join the Great Hunt.
Thora Griffonbane: Knut Whitebear has said this season's event will be one of the most dangerous, so be ready. I've even heard the renowned Eir Stegalkin might attend.
<Character name>: I look forward to impressing them both—after I've earned my place in the hunt.

When speaking to Thora Griffonbane after the cinematic:

Thora Griffonbane: The only thing better than a great hunt is a great hunt and a great moot.

Speaking with Hunter Hauk:

Hunter Hauk: So, hunter, are you ready to start making a name for yourself? There's plenty of game out there, if you [sic] skilled enough to find it.
Talk more option tango.png I'm ready. I shall find the best trophies in this valley.
Spoken like a true hunter! Now, I can tell you where you can find the prey. The rest is up to you. What are you tracking?
Talk more option tango.png I'm looking to take down a boar.
A bold choice. Head south, but be wary. Skelk have been harassing the boars lately, so you'll have two kinds of prey out there.
Talk back option tango.png Boars AND skelk to the south. Got it. What else can you tell me?
Talk end option tango.png That's all I need to know. Take care, friend.
Talk more option tango.png The bigger, the better. Where do I find minotaurs?
Big is right, my friend. Big, burly, and bad-tempered. You'll find a whole herd of minotaurs in the woods just west of here.
Talk back option tango.png I have another question about the prey.
Talk end option tango.png That's all I need to know. Thanks! Now I can get started.
Talk more option tango.png I want something exotic, like an owl griffon.
Now you're talking! Some owl griffons set up a rookery to the west, near the shrine to Snow Leopard. Watch your step. The owls will be guarding their young. Fiercely.
Talk back option tango.png Sounds good, but I seek other prey. Let me ask you about something else.
Talk end option tango.png That's all I need to know. Thanks! Now I can get started.
Talk end option tango.png I have no need for tips. I will find my own prey.
Talk end option tango.png Actually, I'm off to the hunt!

Speaking with Ido the Tanner prior to hunting:

Ido the Tanner: What's this? You haven't completed the hunt! Come back when you've collected at least one trophy.
Talk end option tango.png I'll return, trophy in hand!

Speaking with Hunter (1):

Hunter: You should just go home. My trophies are the best the Great Hunt has ever seen. Way better than yours.
Ferocity Ha! My trophy is so good they're renaming it <Character name>'s Great Hunt.
Well said! You may not win the Great Hunt, but you're a shoo-in for "least modest hunter."
Talk more option tango.png I modestly agree! Now, tell me about your trophies.
Oh, well, I killed a...a fearsome Long-Eared Snow Runner! It had blinding speed and teeth like chisels, but I took it down with just one blow.
Talk end option tango.png That's one impressive rabbit. Maybe I will see you in the winner's circle!
Talk end option tango.png And that's not the only title I'll be collecting today. Good hunting, my friend!
Talk more option tango.png Is that so? Let's see this winning trophy of yours. What did you kill?
Oh, well, I killed a...a fearsome Long-Eared Snow Runner! It had blinding speed and teeth like chisels, but I took it down with just one blow.
Talk end option tango.png That's one impressive rabbit. Maybe I will see you in the winner's circle!
Talk end option tango.png Knut Whitebear will be the judge of that. May the best hunter win!

Speaking with Hunter (2):

Hunter: Hey, <Character name>! You're the one to watch this year. How are you going to beat the giant ice wurm Knut Whitebear brought in?
Charisma With people like you on my side, that battle's already half won!
Really? Thanks! And good luck. Maybe one day the skaalds will sing about our victories.
Talk end option tango.png Are you kidding? We'll be immortalized in song before the day is done!
Talk more option tango.png I haven't decided yet, but I look forward to fighting alongside Eir Stegalkin.
That's right, Eir will be there, too. I can't wait to see how you two handle Issormir. This will be the best Great Hunt ever!
Talk end option tango.png Yes it will!
Talk end option tango.png My deeds do the talking. Just keep your eye on me. You'll see.

Speaking with Hunter (3):

Hunter: Yeah! This is my first real moot, and I love it!
Dignity This is what it's all about—food, fighting, boasting, and ale. You have to love it!
And I do! I do love it! Wahoo!
Talk more option tango.png I can't believe anyone could survive this long without going to a moot.
I've been to moots, but not like this! I grew up in a small settlement. I've never even seen so many people in one place!
Talk end option tango.png Then welcome, friend. The fun is just beginning!
Talk end option tango.png Then get back out there and keep having fun.
Talk more option tango.png I can't believe anyone could survive this long without going to a moot.
I've been to moots, but not like this! I grew up in a small settlement. I've never even seen so many people in one place!
Talk end option tango.png Then welcome, friend. The fun is just beginning!
Talk end option tango.png You think you're enjoying yourself now? The best is still to come!

Speaking with the Bartender (1):

Bartender: I'm tired of serving ale to rowdy hunters.
Charisma Really? You're surrounded by happy people having fun. Grab some for yourself!
You're right. Maybe I'll just knock off early and fetch myself a round for a change. Toss back a few ales, boast a little, maybe sing a few dirty songs...
Talk end option tango.png That's the spirit! Get out there and enjoy the moot!
Talk end option tango.png Really? Then you are in the wrong place and the wrong line of work, my friend.

Speaking with the Bartender (2):

Bartender: Working a moot has its perks. I'm the only one who remembers all the funny things, so I get to tell the best stories.
Talk end option tango.png A toast, then! May we be plenty of fodder for storytelling!

Speaking with Knut Whitebear:

Knut Whitebear: Eir and I put a lot into this Great Hunt. Hoelbrak deserves the best. And here it is: the best hunters battling the fiercest prey.
Talk end option tango.png It will only be the best when I win the Great Hunt. Farewell.

Speaking with Lempi:

Lempi: Careful! Don't mess up my traps!
Talk more option tango.png I see your traps, but I don't see prey.
A hunter's greatest virtue is patience. You don't have to chase things down if you can draw your prey to you. If you've got that, you've got a successful hunt.
Talk end option tango.png Crafty. I'll have to try that.
Talk end option tango.png I'll tread lightly. Good-bye.

Upon speaking to Ido the Tanner after completing the hunt (cinematic):

Ido the Tanner: Hail, hunter! I'm the local leatherworker. Ido's the name. Show me your kills, and I'll make 'em into trophies you'll be proud to show at the moot.
Ido the Tanner: Drinking, singing, and boasting! I love a good old-fashioned moot.
Ido the Tanner: Others save their parties for holidays, but I say every day alive's worth celebrating!
Ido the Tanner: Hey, Knut, look at this impressive trophy! Worthy of the Great Hunt, I'd say!
Knut Whitebear: Indeed. You are skilled enough to defeat your prey and wise enough to revere their spirits. You are worthy to join in this year's Great Hunt!
Knut Whitebear: By my own hand, I have brought the mighty wurm, Issormir. He waits above, in the plateau, for one such as you to challenge him.
Knut Whitebear: The great Eir Stegalkin watches over him now, waiting for the hunt to commence. When it is time, you and the others will go to the high ground over the valley.
Knut Whitebear: There, you will face Issormir and claim victory—if you can!
<Character name>: I can and I will. This is where my legend begins!

Speaking with Ido:

Ido the Tanner: Excellent trophy. You have quite a future ahead of you. Last hunter I saw with such promise was Eir Stegalkin herself.
Talk more option tango.png Tell me, what do we face next?
It's Issormir, a giant ice wurm that Knut Whitebear personally captured. It's a test to challenge the mettle of even the best hunters. So challenging, Eir herself will be there!
Talk more option tango.png Do you know Knut Whitebear? What's he like?
A great, great man. His grandfather founded Hoelbrak. Knut upholds that legacy and runs Hoelbrak with his sons. They keep it alive and thriving!
Talk end option tango.png Farewell, friend.
Talk more option tango.png Tell me more about Eir. (Same as below)
Talk end option tango.png I look forward to the challenge.
Talk more option tango.png You know Eir? Tell me more about her.
She's the living legend who, with her wolf Garm, triumphed over one of Jormag's mightiest lieutenants. And she's a brilliant sculptor! Yes, the skaalds will sing of her for generations.
Talk more option tango.png Impressive. What about the beast we fight after the moot? (Leads to lines above)
Talk end option tango.png One day, the skaalds will sing about me as well.
Talk end option tango.png I look forward to proving you right.

Speaking with Mikkel Toivosson:

Mikkel Toivosson: Well, I didn't know the Great Hunt was open to worthless losers. What are you doing here, <Character name>? Besides embarassing yourself.
Dignity You're the one embarassing yourself, Mikkel. Every time you open your mouth.
Big talk from a toothless pup like you. If you want to start something, I'll finish it.
Talk end option tango.png Not here and not now. But soon, you hairy-necked goon. Soon.
Ferocity Drunk again, Mikkel? I guess seeing your face in the mirror would drive anybody to drink.
What did you say? I'd break you in half, but then the judges would probably disqualify me. But I won't forget this.
Talk end option tango.png You'd forget your own name if your mom didn't stitch it into your undergarments.
Talk more option tango.png Go ahead and run your mouth, Mikkel. My trophy will do the talking for me.
You'll have to catch something first, loser.
Talk end option tango.png Just keep talking. It makes beating you all the more satisfying.
Talk end option tango.png Not interested, Mikkel. Find someone else to pester.

Speaking with Sigfast:

Sigfast: So, you're the hunter that everyone's talking about? Not bad. What's your boast?
Ferocity Boast?
You must have a boast. Why, I chew rocks for breakfast, and make my bed on steel spikes! And you?
Talk more option tango.png I once ate a whole dolyak all by myself.
Not bad, not bad at all! Now go tell it at the moot, and the skaalds will add to your legend!
Talk end option tango.png I will!
Talk more option tango.png I threw a ball so high that when it came down, I realized I'd caught the moon instead.
Not bad, not bad at all! Now go tell it at the moot, and the skaalds will add to your legend!
Talk end option tango.png I will!
Talk more option tango.png When I was a kid, I killed three cougars by choking them to death with my binky!
Binky? Huh. Either you're crazy, or you've already had too much of that Bear's Brown Ale.
Talk end option tango.png Too much? Not enough, I'd say! See you later!
Talk more option tango.png Who are you?
I am Sigfast, son of Knut Whitebear, Master of Hoelbrak. With my older brother, Skarti, and my friends in the Wolfborn, I protect and defend my father's mighty lodge.
Talk end option tango.png Nice to meet you!
Talk end option tango.png I'll tell you later.

Speaking with Skarti:

Skarti: Hail hunter! I hope you're ready for the next challenge.
Dignity If the challenge comes in a keg, I'm always ready.
Ha! Know this—Bear's Brown Ale has bested as many norn as Bear herself!
Talk more option tango.png Well said! Who are you, friend?
I am Skarti, oldest son of Knut Whitebear. I lead the Wolfborn, protectors of the Great Lodge, and I can outdrink any norn, charr, spirit, or god!
Talk end option tango.png A mighty boast! I look forward to seeing you prove it at the moot. See you then!
Talk end option tango.png Well said. Off I go!
Talk more option tango.png What challenge?
The great wurm issormir. My father, Knut Whitebear, captured it and brought it to the plateau above, to test the best young hunters.
Talk more option tango.png Impressive. How's he keeping it up there?
Knut's old friend, the legend Eir Stegalkin, is keeping the wurm busy while this season's best hunters are chosen to face it.
Talk end option tango.png I look forward to facing Issormir and meeting such a legend.
Talk end option tango.png Good to know.
Talk end option tango.png I want to enjoy the moot first.

Talking to Beastmaster Youkeh:

Beastmaster Youkeh: By the Spirits, it's a beautiful day for a hunt. Or a moot. Or a brawl!
Talk end option tango.png That it is.

When the moot brawl begins:

Beastmaster Youkeh: Listen up, moot-goers! If you think you're ready for glory, this is the place to prove it.
Beastmaster Youkeh: Step into my arena and test your fighting prowess! What better way to prepare for victory in the Great Hunt?
Beastmaster Youkeh: Once those cages open, there's no turning back. Get ready to fight!

Talking to Beastmaster Youkeh during the moot brawl event:

Beastmaster Youkeh: My friends and I have gathered beasts and brutes from across the Shiverpeaks. Tell me, are you strong enough to face them in a fight?
Talk end option tango.png I'm always ready for a challenge.

Taking part in the festive moot brawl, after defeating a few waves:

Beastmaster Youkeh: What's that? You want more? Your wish is my command.

After defeating more waves:

Beastmaster Youkeh: Nothing can prepare you for what we've got in store for you next...and here it comes!

When the moot brawl ends:

Beastmaster Youkeh: What a fight. I bet you're all warmed up and ready for Issormir. Tell me I'm wrong. You can't! Because I'm not!
Local: It was glorious! I've really got a shot at taking home the prize this year.

Speaking with Varg:

Varg: On on, get out of my face, you...shtupid punk...quaggan-kissher. You aint got ale, you ain't got nothing'.
Ferocity You're right. All I've got are two big fists, and I know you don't want either one.
Come on, then! Show me your big fishts, and I'll...wait, what was I...who are you again?
Talk end option tango.png Find a quiet place to sleep it off, pal. I'm leaving.
Dignity Settle down Varg, you're embarassing yourself again.
Hey! You can't talk to me like that. I'll kick you...with my foot!
Talk end option tango.png While you're trying to find your foot, I'll be moving on.
Talk more option tango.png Take it easy, pal. I think you've had a few too many.
Oh, yeah? I'll show you who's had too many! Right after I finish this one...
Talk end option tango.png Right. You do that. When you're ready, I'll be somewhere else.
Talk end option tango.png That makes us even, then. Good-bye.

Talking with Bjain Ironhelm while gate to the plateau is closed:

Bjain Ironhelm: They're still preparing the hunting grounds. Enjoy the moot. The gates will open soon.

Meeting with Eir and the climb to the plateau:

Eir Stegalkin: Hail to the finest hunters of the season!
Eir Stegalkin: Follow me if you dare—and ready yourselves for battle!
Show Leopard Shaman: May Snow Leopard grant you swiftness and grace.
Raven Shaman: May Raven bless you with the vision to see and the wisdom to understand.
Wolf Shaman: Walk with the pack. In the eyes of Wolf, we are all brothers and sisters.
Bear Shaman: Battle with the strength of Bear.

Speaking with Eir:

Eir Stegalkin: Welcome, <Character name>. I've heard about you—some good things, some not so good, and some things I just don't believe. I look forward to seeing you prove yourself.
Talk end option tango.png It's all true, every word! Stand with me now, and you'll see for yourself!

Speaking with Snow Leopard Shaman:

Snow Leopard Shaman: Don't hesitate. Snow Leopard smiles upon you. You will not see her, but she is watching.
Talk end option tango.png I can't wait to show her victory!

Speaking with Raven Shaman:

Raven Shaman: Raven's path to victory is straight and sure. Follow it!
Talk end option tango.png I will!

Speaking with Wolf Shaman:

Wolf Shaman: Go now, hunter. May Wolf's howl spur you to victory!
Talk end option tango.png Thank you, shaman. I'm on my way!

Speaking with Bear Shaman:

Bear Shaman: Your time has come. Be like Bear—move forward with overwhelming force!
Talk end option tango.png I'll make Bear proud.

When Issormir appears:

Eir Stegalkin: Onward! To glory!
Eir Stegalkin: There's our prey! Go on, hunter, show us what you can do!
Eir Stegalkin: Keep at him! Don't let Garm have all the fun!
Eir Stegalkin: He's reeling. Let's finish him off!
Eir Stegalkin: All hail the Slayer of Issormir! Now, return to the Snowlord's Gate as no mere hunter, but a champion!

Aftermath cinematic:

Habel Icebreaker: What a hunt! I heard about your victory. Very impressive!
<Character name>: Thank you. It was a hard-fought battle, and I'm proud of my part in it.
Habel Icebreaker: An excellent beginning to your legend, friend. You know, a lot of folks around here have problems that need solving. A slayer like you could be a big help.
Habel Icebreaker: Putting your skills to work sharpens them, and helping others wouldn't hurt your reputation, either! Think of the glory!
<Character name>: I will seek out these problems and solve them. Then we will see how my legend grows!

Ambient dialogue[edit]

Thora Griffonbane: Ah, the Great Hunt! Each year when the season comes, fresh young hunters rise to the challenge.
Hunter Hauk: Exhilarating, isn't it?
Thora Griffonbane: Knut Whitebear found a curious beast for the event. He calls it "Issormir."
Hunter Hauk: You don't say! Well, I think we can expect a few more injuries and maulings, then.

Dialogue between two male Hunters.

Hunter (1): Don't get your hopes up. I've clearly got the finest trophy!
Hunter (2): Who are you kidding? Yours is tiny and smells of rot!
Hunter (1): The only thing tiny and rotten here is YOUR head!

Dialogue between a male Hunter (1) and a female Hunter (2):

Hunter (1): See the mighty minotaur horns I have brought back!
Hunter (2): Hmm. Are you sure those are from a minotaur?
Hunter (1): Of course they are. I wrenched them from the rampaging beast's head with my own two hands.
Hunter (2): Looks like dolyak horns to me.
Hunter (1): Every year, the competition gets younger and tougher. I've heard of a particular hunter that everyone's watching.
Hunter (2): No matter who wins, it's always an honor to participate.
Hunter (1): I hate to admit it, but I don't think my trophies will win.
Hunter (2): Chin up. Even if you don't win, at least you had the privilege of meeting Knut Whitebear!

Dialogue between two female Hunters:

Hunter (1): Did you see Eir Stegalkin?
Hunter (2): I did. We're so lucky to have her attend our Great Hunt.
Hunter (1): She's amazing.

A male Hunter with 3 wolves at Borealis Forest:

Hunter: Easy, boys. You'll get your chance. There's plenty of prey to go around.

A male Local near Varg:

Local: Lempi needs to watch where she puts her traps. Stupid thing almost took off my foot.

Female Locals beside the rock near Varg:

Local (1): Ale makes me want to hunt, and hunting makes me want ale. What else is there?
Local (2): Did you see the one that charged me? He must have been twenty feet tall!

A female Hunter (1) and a male Hunter (2) near Mikkel Toivosson:

Hunter (1): I'm the greatest hunter alive! The greatest who ever lived!
Hunter (2): Greatest hunter? Nah. Biggest mouth? Definitely.
Hunter (1): You'd better watch YOUR mouth, buddy, or I'll hunt you down just to prove my point.
Hunter (2): In your dreams. And if you do hunt me down in a dream, you better wake up and apologize.
Hunter (2): I'm definitely a better hunter than you. Why, I once killed a minotaur with my bare hands!
Hunter (1): How did a minotaur get your bare hands?
Hunter (2): Raven's beak, woman! What are you—oh, I see what you did there. Very clever.

2 male Child and 1 female Child:

Child (1): I'll come with you.
Child (1): You're so awesome.
Child (2): Aroooooo!
Child (2): I could go for some ribs.
Child (3): Eir's so brave. I'm going to be just as courageous!
Child (2): (laughing)
Child (1): Feint, parry, slash, stab. Feint, parry, slash, stab. (Only if they stop by the Warriors at target practice.)
Child (2): Yeah. Oh yeah! Woohoo!
Child (3): (laughing)

A male Local standing beside the moot pen:

Local: It was glorious! I really have a shot at taking home the prize this year.

My story[edit]

The Great Hunt.jpg

I hunted down prey for the Great Hunt, presented my trophies to the judges, and celebrated with my fellow hunters at the moot. Then I battled and defeated Issormir, the giant ice wurm. These victories earned me glory, and the right to call myself "Slayer of Issormir." Soon every norn in Hoelbrak will be talking about me!

My story

Notes[edit]

  • You can kill all 3 of the available 'mini-bosses' during this area. Even if you kill more than one, it is unclear which trophy is the one presented to Ido.
    • During the original beta builds, all three beasts were to be defeated before presenting them to Ido.
