JoAnna is a little girl found in a dark alley just to the west of Defender's Field, within the Stronghold of Ebonhawke. She claims that a charr passed by her and into a hole in a wooden wall that seems to be closing a cave behind it.

- Hey, a charr came through this gap and headed to the farm. Then, it went all wavy and disappeared like a ghost! Nobody believes me, but I saw it!
Strange. Did you hear anything? Did the charr say anything?
- No. It just ran by. You couldn't hear the footsteps even. I only felt the breeze. Then, gone.
No idea, kid. I'd keep an eye out, if I were you.
- (If thief)
- Sounds like you saw someone stealth themselves. Easy trick, if you know how to do it.
- Whoa. Maybe that's what the charr did. I wonder where it went.
- If it used stealth, I don't think it wanted you to find out.
- That's ridiculous.
