  • Reduced power coefficient on the final impact from 1.666 to 1.333 in WvW.

  • (PvE Only) Reduced cooldown from 40 seconds to 20 seconds. Increased power coefficient of initial hit from 0.25 to 0.75. Increased power coefficient of final hit from 2.2 to 2.5.
  • Reduced ring duration from 5 seconds to 3 seconds in WvW only.

  • This skill's cast has been reworked. The dragonhunter will now channel the skill for 1 second and then release the barrage, allowing movement while the attacks occur and traps are formed.

  • The final visual effect of this skill has been toned down and rescaled to better reflect its area of impact.
February 25, 2020 Competitive content update:
  • Hunter's Ward: Increased the damage dealt by the final impact of this skill by 10%.
  • (Competitive split) Reduced pulsing strike power coefficient from 0.25 to 0.1. Reduced final impact power coefficient from 2.0 to 1.666.
April 19, 2016
  • This skill now creates barriers on enemies only if they are struck by the final attack.
  • Barriers created by this skill now only stop enemies who have been marked (struck) by the final attack.
  • The final attack damage has been increased by 33%.
  • Ring duration has been reduced from 6 seconds to 5 seconds.
  • The cooldown of this skill has been reduced from 45 seconds to 40 seconds.
  • Added a red ring for enemies so they can be identified as hostile.

  • Removed an erronious icon that appeared on opponents when using this ability.
  • Reduced the visual noise on the effects associated with this skill.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the damage to not be applied in certain skill queueing scenarios.
