Dialogue[edit]

Interacting with Moa Trainer Kappa
I know they come through here. I've got them well documented. I just have to wait for the next batch to come through, and BAM! Easy money. You should help me catch them. It'll be fun!
Talk ready option.png OK, I'll help you out.
Talk more option tango.png What comes through here?
Pygmy moas! Don't you know anything? They always come through here searching for food about now. Rather predictable, but that just makes them easier to exploit. They're like a mobile gold mine.
Talk ready option.png OK, I'll help you out.
Talk more option tango.png What are "pygmy moas"?
A pygmy moa, as the name implies, is a smaller racial variant of normal moas. They're disgustingly cute, just as fast, and perhaps a bit smarter. Natural selection removes the stupid ones, you see.
Talk ready option.png OK, I'll help you out.
Talk more option tango.png Why do they come back when you're around?
Talk more option tango.png What do you do with the ones you catch?
Talk end option tango.png I hate cute. I'll just excuse myself.
Talk more option tango.png A mobile gold mine? Really?
Talk more option tango.png Why do they keep coming if you keep taking them?
Likely because they're just animals that don't know any better. Or they enjoy my moa call. Or maybe the food here is delicious. I don't care, really, but I'm glad they do.
Talk ready option.png OK, I'll help you out.
Talk more option tango.png So what makes these moas special?
Talk more option tango.png What's this special training you mentioned?
Through the advanced regimen of behavioral demonstration, positive reinforcement, and group competitiveness I brilliantly designed, I'll teach these birds to dance on a professional level.
Talk back option tango.png Explain again why you're training tiny moas to dance?
Talk end option tango.png Must be quite a show. Maybe I'll see it sometime.
Talk end option tango.png Well, sounds like you've got this covered. Bye.
Talk end option tango.png Sure, and skritt invented the printing press. Bye.
Talk more option tango.png "Easy money"?
These little guys are cute enough to fetch high prices on their own, but with my special training, pygmy moas can perform a coordinated dance that makes them worth their weight in gold!
Talk ready option.png OK, I'll help you out.
Talk more option tango.png OK, I'll bite. What makes them "pygmy moas"?
Talk more option tango.png Sounds like you've taken a lot of them. Why do they keep coming?
Talk end option tango.png Dancing moas? Ha! Good luck with that.
Talk end option tango.png Have fun with that.
Before event
Moa Trainer Kappa: Moas love living in the flora. But they're fauna, fauna for me to exploit.
Moa Trainer Kappa: Watch. I'll demonstrate. A simple sound device fools them out every time.
Moa Trainer Kappa: We'll lure them into the open, then shove them into the pen.
Moa Trainer Kappa: Ready? Here we go.
During the event
Moa Trainer Kappa: It's not difficult, but pygmy moas are quick. Just get them in the pen. I'll take over from there.
Moa Trainer Kappa: Thankfulness is really not in my nature. I appreciate this, though.
Event success
Moa Trainer Kappa: It's too bad I couldn't do it alone.
Moa Trainer Kappa: Someday I'll be a better inventor. I'll invent everyone out of a job.
Moa Trainer Kappa: I wonder if I can invent something that makes inventions?
Moa Trainer Kappa: Wish I had an invention to train moas. Oh, well. I'll just have to do it the old-fashioned way.
Moa Trainer Kappa: Lift! No, lift, dammit, lift. Lift that leg, you brainless bird!
Moa Trainer Kappa: This is worse than herding moas.
