Problem accessing gw1:Guild Wars Utopia[edit]

Does anyone know how to delete gw1:Guild Wars Utopia? Trying to access it directly at http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gw1:Guild_Wars_Utopia or http://wiki.guildwars2.com/index.php?title=Gw1:Guild%20Wars%20Utopia gets the following error: "Bad title The requested page title was invalid, empty, or an incorrectly linked inter-language or inter-wiki title. It may contain one or more characters which cannot be used in titles.". -- Gordon Ecker 08:32, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

To fix it, we'll need to have the interwiki link for "gw1" disabled; then the file can be accessed and deleted; then at that point the interwiki link can be re-enabled. Now that "gw1" is reserved as a code for an interwiki link, the system will prevent access to any article that starts with that code. --161.88.255.140 18:53, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
And an anon knows this? Great. Well, Gordon, I guess they Emily's going to need to put in another request to IT very soon. Calor (t) 19:38, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Why, shouldn't an anon know that? Lord of all tyria 19:41, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Wouldn't it be simpler to just get IT to delete it server-side? -- Gordon Ecker 21:06, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Wasn't the page created before the links were enabled? It was probably an innocent mistake from special:wantedpages. Lord Belar 22:12, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I don't think it would be possible to create one after. -- Gordon Ecker 01:34, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Take a look at Special:WantedPages. I'm seeing gw1:Flameseeker Prophecies near the top with 4 supposed links, but no pages actually use the link. When I click on the link in the wanted pages it opens the correct page on gww for me to edit. So you guys are right, you can't recreate pages with gw1: in front any more... but those old innocently created pages seem to have left a few interesting remains through the wiki, not just the utopia page. --Aspectacle 03:11, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Just curious, why the sound of surprise that an anon knows this? --71.227.150.109 02:08, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Well, most anons aren't nearly as tech-savvy as 161.88.255.140. Most anons lern 2 takl liek dis and don't really have experience with wikis, wiki coding, etc. Although some, as we earlier learned, do. Calor (t) 03:44, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

PvP Pages - Candidates for Speedy Deletion[edit]

There are a number of fairly new PvP/WvW Pages for skills that are tagged for speedy deletion. These pages help track the differences between PvP/WvW and PvE which are now the route the game is currently taking for skill balance between modes.

On each of the pages, it mentions a "template rework". Can this "rework" be linked accordingly? Are there new plans for these pages or are these tagged in error? — Mute 21:42, 30 April 2018‎ (UTC)

The template rework is a project I worked on for the past few months: here's a link to all the changes I've made with the template rework. But here's a TL:DR;
Instead of having the game mode versions of a split skill/trait spread out on 2 or even 3 pages, everything is kept on one page. This greatly reduces the amount of work for editors to update all skills that have game mode split changes, since there's only one page to update.
To answer your second question: There are no new plans for these pages; they are no longer needed and can be safely deleted. —Nefastu 18:04, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
Thank you for clarifying. I noticed a few of these going up and really impressed with changes! Thanks for doing this! — Mute 03:20, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
