- Wurmmarshal Osa Ekolo: Don't like how your soldiers are lookin' at my wurms. Keep your troops in line.
- Troopmarshal Pelu Egan: A snack before fighting wouldn't hurt. They're a whole lot grumpier when they don't eat.
- Wurmmarshal Osa Ekolo: There's bone pulp all around the garrison. Can't your troops eat that?
- Troopmarshal Pelu Egan: Sure, if it was here. But it's all the way over there.
- Giving a ration to Hungry Awakened
- Satisfied Awakened: Not as nice as filet of wurm, but snacks is snacks.
- Satisfied Awakened: Feels good to be full again. Remember what living was like? Eating...fighting...eating again.
- Satisfied Awakened: A pinch of salt, a little parsley...just like mother used to make.
- Satisfied Awakened: Much better. Now to pick my teeth with the Shatterer's ribs.
- Satisfied Awakened: I'm drooling just looking at this wurm.
- Satisfied Awakened: Feel so hollow inside. Be happier if I ate a wurm.
- Satisfied Awakened: Guess the troopmarshal called in delivery.

- Troopmarshal Pelu Egan: As food or as forces—makes no difference to me. Get us bone pulp from the garrison and we'll eat that instead.

- Troopmarshal Pelu Egan: See? All they wanted was food. Wurm or pulp—it doesn't matter.
- Wurmmarshal Osa Ekolo: Look at those bite marks!
- Troopmarshal Pelu Egan: Wurms don't have to be pretty. They'll bust up the Shatterer either way.
